What happened to the bond between the brothers?

I just dont get it. Ayaan just went through this big ordeal and went to Asad for help. Asad did what he should have as an elder brother and gave Ayaan good advice. But how is Asad not shown to be at all concerned about Ayaan. He is just enjoying his mehendi ceremony and not once thinking about what Ayaan decided to do or anything. This whole Billi drama has taken up soo much to the show that the show has lost so much of its essence. Asad would be this cool after knowing that Ayaan might be going to jail if he confesses. I mean even an outsider would be a little concerned thinking, "I wonder what ever happened about that".

It's really disappointing that besides having so many relations and connections between the characters, it is like we are watching two separate shows. I really wish we could go back to the days when Asad would fight for Nikhat and always be there to help his siblings. Even the adorable Rabart-Mona relationship just vanished into thin air.
