I think Shalini is his friend and is acting as his first wife but he will eventually fall in love with her

I in her place would have stayed until I know I can stand on my own and then walk out. I guess in her own little mind she could not believe that Onir of all persons would have done this to her knowing what they went through and all his support for her. I think she was extremely shocked as she did not want to believe that it is true.

It's is very shocking especially from the one you took for granted and never thought would turn on you. So I can understand her sudden storming out but still she should have counted to 10 and took a breather ...for pari at least!

I don't get why purvi doesn't get a job. Obviously she's educated and had a job before this so why not now? Why has she become so damn weak for?

Same here, I too was wondering why she has not gone out to work as they are facing difficulties. I think I mentioned this in another post sometime back. She can leave pari at a daycare and go to work. She will earn well as she is highly educated and has a good track record job wise. I dont understand why the CV's brought purvi down to this level from middle class riches to rags. Its amazing.

Well I really hope that Purvi seeking assitance from Gauri is really her first step towards living as an independnet stron woman. I accept that raising a child single handedly is very difficult, but millions of woman the world over do it all the time and have done so for millenia. I think it's time that these TV shows start portraying strong woman who make it in the world without the help of any man or another's wealth. It might not be a choice that many women make to live this life, but we all know women who have done so. It's time to celebrate their strengths.
