Mehndi: much ado about nothing?

Mixing acid in mehndi is a BIG thing - the hand will corrode forever. Unless 4Lions wants to treat it like a cut and then forget about it which is quite bizarre. But its 4Lions, and its a serial - anything can happen!

And I find nothing remotely romantic to go gaga about having Asad's "A" being seared in Zoya's hand forever by acid! On the contrary, its rather gruesome and masochistic, ugh!

During the mangalpur incident. Asad had "Z" being engraved into his palm by thorns when he thought he had lost Zoya forever. Zoya knows about the acid in the mehendi but still decides to go for it as she wants Asad's name to be engraved into her hands too. So the two of them having each other initials engraved in each other's palm.
