As of tuesday i wanted to kill asad n the cv but today, i have slowly started to forgive asad. finally we deveelopement in this character, decent work cv. Also some of this can also be thrown Nikhet's way.

Plus from a trp/story pov - Gul will never give is a confession AND a nikaah and I desperately need for this nikaah to happen. The story has to move and the only way that can happen is via an AsYa marriage, in my opinion.

Well I do think there is always a need for a confession since that puts things straight and honest. In real life relationships too, confessing/stating your feelings is very imp so that there is NO room for ambiguity and it makes both partners aware of it and is reassuring too, probably thats why saying I love you is imp to maintain the relationships as shared by relationship experts. It needs courage to say it and let it out. I am not much for the nikah actually but confession definitely. . Who wants a loveless marriage?😕 Me? Nope.

I so agree. I had had enough of the shy Asad trying to confess his love, locked up in his room. One can blush when they are infatuated by someone too. It did't prove love. The Mangalpur scene proved love. But back then, he hadn't admitted to himself.

And then after that, it was back to square one. I'm finally so glad Asad is showing his love to Zoya in a more meaningful way. Today, I am extremely happy with Asad.

Nice post and keen observation! Asad has been softening towards Zoya for a while, but it's taken him this long to take baby steps towards trusting her and empathising with her.Just as Zoya feels she knows her Mr. Khan - that she can trust in him to not betray her ever -, so too does Asad finally believe in Zoya's extraordinary courage, and the brave face she puts on.
But this is just one layer of Ms Farooqui that Asad has finally unravelled, I'm really looking forward to his complete capitulation.

But it's not a loveless marriage is it? Love doesn't always have to be said it can be expressed.

Besides as I said from a trp pov Gul will never give us both at the same time and the marriage is vitally more important to the story than the confession because Gaffur's reveal is what we are heading for and for that Zoe needs to be connected legally and morally to Asad and co.

Me too! We might see a role reversal if we are headed for traumatic and dramatic nikaah. Maybe it will be the beginning of Asad's repentance and understanding as he works to bring back his Zoya?
