Character Growth, at last!

I have openly called out Asad on his double standard and hypocrisy when it comes to Zoe. His blatant disregard and disrespect for her was grating to watch especially when you had 10 minutes of the screen time dedicated to him blushing and trying to figure out a way to confess his love.

Friday - the burn reveal - started the ball rolling on something phenomenal. Asad has finally exhibited signs of growth. For the first time, I actually believe Asad is in love with Zoya. It started with him assuring her that he loves her just the way she is and it grew a little more today when he finally publicly supported her. Asad has now begun to realize that clothes does not make the person. Today, he acknowledged Zoya's childhood struggle and trauma. He acknowledged the immense courage it must take her to not hate her life, like he did when his father left. He finally showed the audience and Zoya that he understands her...and indeed supports her. The added bonus, of course, was watching the smirk being wiped off Tanveer's face.

Asad's redemption has begun. While I have not completely forgiven him yet, I will admit that I am now more open to giving him a chance. Maybe he IS the hero of the show after all! 😆

I agree! Asad was great today! He shut the cat up nicely! I hope we get to see more of Asad. I think the cv's will show him doubting Billi now...Can't wait!!

I'd only give it to him when he puts his trust on Zoya, but hey we have to start some where and this was a good start.

I am really hoping that is where this is all leading to. I am pretty sure Zoe is gonna be missing from the nikaah and Asad needs to trust that she didn't run.

I agree..I have temporarily decided to forgive him😆 I have been waiting forever to see Asad publicly defend Zoya and he did it twice today..I loved every word he told Tannu..

As far as Asad is concerned, he was great today... The road of redemption has indeed begun ... I finally saw some character growth in Asad... Although some of his loser deeds are irredeemable in my opinion and I haven't forgiven him fully, I must admit that seeing him grow some brains and emerge from the darkness he locked himself into, is commendable and does earn some brownie points from my side...

There is one thing in AsYa's equation that can never be wiped clean and it shouldn't. I hope once this nikaah and stuff is done Asad acknowledges how wrong he was to slap her. I want a heartfelt apology with true remorse that is NOT over a cup of coffee.

Yes two incidents where he stood up for Zoya showed he cared from the heart. First the scar one and today when he parried off the blow from Tanveer pulling down Zoya. I so wanted him to hug Zoya in that scar scene but he didnt😡. Anyway just for today he is temporarily forgiven😳. The way he told Tanveer koi uljhan nahi hai and if he is not bothered by the scar then no one else shd be. Put her right in her place👏 Yes acknowledging Zoya's courage and goodness was icing on the cake. Hope this stays😳 and yes he must confess before nikah😳

Honestly a confession is not needed. Both Asad and Zoya know that what is between them is real. The don't say the words but the express it via their actions.

Plus from a trp/story pov - Gul will never give is a confession AND a nikaah and I desperately need for this nikaah to happen. The story has to move and the only way that can happen is via an AsYa marriage, in my opinion.
