i noe rimpy posted a topic bout marriages too...but mines is kinda diff

just this morining my mom was tellin me bout sum wedding the took place in india few daiz ago. in this wedding the bride was wearing clothes tht had 1core worth of diamonds on it, their were body guards beside the bride, the father-in-law gave her 3core worth necklace, the dowry was so expensive it was in display cases.

before weddings were family events and now i feel they r shows, each person tries to outbeat the person whos wedding was before theirs, if one person has 1500 guest the next person will hav 1600 if one groom comes on a elephant the next one will come on a camel.

this is wat i think...shaadi ja ke ek show ke thara hogi hai...where the dulhan and dhule wale r the ones putting on the show and the guest r the spectaturs

very true, every one want to showoff..how much can they spend on their children in other words for them it can be how much they love their children

I feel just a little bad after reading your post. I myself have planned a huge wedding for myself because I want to out do all my cousins that have made fun of me over the years or otherwise made be feel bad. But I also want to have huge wedding because its always been my dream and plus I know we can afford it. I would never make outrageous demands to my father.

So a huge wedding for me.
