I have been reading all these arguments regarding the whole skirt scenario and all... And ofcourse everyone has the right to their own point of view. Although we really need to get out the dinosaur ages! When my mum watched the skirt scene she couldn't stop laughing!! she thought it was hilarious!! :D And the after argument between Asad and Zoya, she thought Zoya was absolutely correct. Now my mother isn't the most broad minded when it comes to clothes.. she sometimes has a go at me if she thinks something is too short, although I have always maintained the belief that clothes do not portray someones character and personality! I know what to wear and where to wear it, keeping in mind if its appropriate for the environment in which I'm going, which Zoya always does too! I dont believe that this has destroyed her character at all but rather it has enhanced its purpose even more! And Surbhi is a brilliant actor! 😳👏
I love Qubool Hai for challenging the old narrow-minds of the many people who believe that a girls attire especially is everything! In every other serial you watch their ideal bahus and daughters are dressed in traditional indian clothes 24/7 including when they sleep! Although I would like to ask you all how many of you actually wear traditional indian 24/7??😆 I sure as hell dont! Qubool Hai is a show in which the mass audience especially youth can relate too! I feel Zoyas character may have also helped my mother dearest to understand what I have been saying for so many years! 😛
And lastly I know that the show is based on a muslim background and wearing short clothes in Islam is haram, although many things shown in Qubool Hai are also haram in Islam. Such as the deeds of the negative characters, taking peoples lives, blackmailing and what not! But I dont see people pointing out them as saying this is haram, that is haram blah blah blah! Like honestly just get over it! Its a fictional show!! 👏👏 And this my lovelies is the end of my rant!
