Scandal on the set of Lil champs

Singer Abhijeet has always been an outspoken person. But on the sets of Li'l Champs, he gave his tongue free reign, especially with music director Bappi Lahiri. Right from ridiculing his girth and his Hindi, Abhijeet even pointed fingers at Bappi da's ability to judge. According to Abhijeet, Bappi da was biased towards the blind singer Diwakar and "dada toh ghar se hi grade dene ka sochke aate hain".

Things got so bad that Bappi da had to request him to hold his tongue in public and to sort things out backstage. Well, the show is over and Diwakar did not win, but we do wonder how things are between the two music legends.

Lols.... yeah I agree with you! But I think Abhijeet's outburst must have left some bad taste for Bapida as he is so nice! I saw Alkaji at Bapida'a birthday bash but not Abhijeet. However, I like Abhijeet's songs. I think the bit about him and Alkaji was just a publicity stunt for higher ratings. Just my two cents...😛

Anyhow, he showed no class in rediculing Bappida openly, with Diwakar looking confused on the stage, and then in a war of words with Diwakar's father. This made the public sympatize more with Diwakar, so one can conclude that this drama actually helped Diwakar.
In the end there was a rift between the two, and that is the reason Abhijeet was not seen at Bappida's birthday bash.
