I think because it was the first episode they had an over dose of jokes! But sooner or later they will concentrate more on the dancing than the comedy quotient. But, I do like kapil and manish's jokes!

i like Kapil too..
i think this is great combination...
Nehle pe dehla...Will be so much fun for me to watch JDJ ..

I watch the show for Manish Paul...i dont mind tadka by Kapil 😳

Manish has always been great as host. This is light hearted show so humor is good in hosting.

About Kapil, I have seen couple of his comedy acts, he was great in it. I guess he went the standup act way while hosting. He needs to moderate his voice, jokes n one liners for the hosting. hope he does

I enjoyed those two!

Kapil was a great choice in my opinion. There were a few evident flaws in his anchoring however I'm sure he'll improve with time.

I enjoyed the jokes but yes,an actress would have been a perfect foil to manish's jokes,like ragini,jenny or even sanaya who looked good with him. Manish is too good! 😊

Manish was gud as he hosted many shows plus awards soo he is very experienced but kapil was very nervous but he really needs to work on his lines n english...

Dont wanna sound personal n rude but i felt soo...

Dancing with the stars is all about focus on dance. And it's not about comparing JDJ with the original Dancing with the stars. But, we could have more focus on the contestants and their dance than resorting to throwing in jokes just for the heck of it.

seriously, it looks like dance happening in between of a comedy show. why doesn't the channel try to make the show more dance based and serious?
atleast then we'll have ppl talking about dancers n their progress and not some silly jokes 🥱
