Nice post.

Well, if Zoya was brought up in an orphanage...I think her basic character would be the same. She'd be an understanding person, minus the western frills that irk Asad (and many viewers) so much.

Would she be less confident, I wonder. Her parent's tragic past has not changed Zoya. Even if she were not to know another family(Zeenat)- I feel she would be childlike in her trust. But subdued, like Khushi in IPK.

If she met Asad when she came in search of Dilshad, again, it depends on their first encounter. Would she be the girl Asad imagined her to be in the dargah?

Asad, actually has not been wrong in his expectations of an ideal girl- it is quite the girl every man wants to bring home. An abandoned, soft spoken girl would have appealed to the chivalrous man in him a lot. 😊 (I would have found the heroine very bland then.🥱😆)

Zoya might have been a reserved girl having been brought up in an orphanage! 🤔

Dilshad and Zoya bonding would have been the same though and Asad would have liked Zoya at first sight...
