Whatever be the extreme conditions or provocations one is pushed to nothing, absolutely nothing can justify murdering innocent little children.It becomes more horrific & unfathomable when such a dastardly act is committed by one these murdered kids look up to with trust & love.What justification can be there for someone snatching away life from someone who has not
even understood & seen much of life? If Sunita was such a "mamta se koot koot ke bhari" lady how did she do this not once but twice in such a cold blooded calculated manner? The mother is to be blamed for causing so much hurt by cruelty through words I agree, so though not pardonable still the first murder was atleast understandable.It was done in the heat of the moment.But after that if she was a conscientious woman she would have removed herself far away as possible from the spot of her heinous crime.But she chose to stay on in the family as if nothing had happened & not only that endeared herself to the woman's other child.And when the same thing was repeated again simply went to the do the same again.
I have personally seen what childlessness can do to a woman's psyche.In what weird ways a barren woman's mind begins to work, a woman who was once sane & practical.Still I could not find it in myself to sympathize with Sunita. She had a loving mom in law.She could have talked to her about adoption or
living separately, away from Tinkoo's family.India is steeped in superstitions & beliefs.Heartless & cruel though Tinkoo's mom's behaviour may have been as a traditional woman Sunita should have understood the base of her fears.Sad.
