Dire Consequences
Prologue:
Arnav's eyes were spitting fire as he snatched the chit of paper from Khushi's trembling hands.
He knew the moment that Khushi had invited Sheetal to stay at Shantivan that she had invited trouble. Their relationship was suffering and now Khushi was beginning to hide things from him, the same Khushi who used to tell him every detail of every moment in a day.
He focused on her tear stricken face that was laced with worry and despair. What was in the document that was causing her so much distress?
The silence in the room was broken by the shuffling of paper as he slowly unfolded the paper in his hands. His eyes bulged as he skimmed the document, and froze on the bold black words that would ruin everything.
Because according to the sheet of paper, a DNA report,the DNA analysis of the alleged father, Arnav Singh Raizada, and the child, Aarav, are 99.99% positive for the probability of paternity.
How could that be? Aarav his son?! Sheetal had reassured him that she had been on the pill during their brief relationship, but had she been lying? Was it possible that Aarav was actually his son?
His thoughts were interrupted as he heard the sound of silent sobs. Khushi! His Khushi! He watched her cry silently in despair as his silence had spoken the truth.
