Jhoot bole billi kaate, kaale billi se darriyo'
Main maike chali jaaoongi, tum dekhte rahiyo...Tanveer and her jhoot and such has become the test of love and trust for Asad and Zoya.
Zo should have really sung this song today and told that "main Newyork chali jaaoongi tum dekhte rahiyo".
But on a serious note, I have to say that Asad and Zo's relationship needs this phase and this face off. The feelings that Asad and Zo have for each other are not a jhoot. It's the biggest truth of their life.. but there is also a bigger truth.. and that is like Asad said yesterday, they both are completely different.. as different as plate and spoon. But with their differences, they can complete each other.. but sadly Asad and Zo both hasn't realized the true meaning of how they can complete each other and this issue of Tanveer will teach them that and how to trust each other.
As I have said in a previous post, trust doesn't come the moment you fall in love with each other. Trust comes with time.. trust comes after you have had issues, made mistakes and learnt from it.
Now coming back to today's epi and my topic, today what stood out most for me is this line, "Tanveer jhoot bol raha hai".
Today's epi began with Asad repeatedly asking Zo if what she is saying is that tanveer is telling a lie or not.. And finally Zo very clearly answered a yes and said that she is saying it because she knows that Tanveer is lying..
Now whats standing out here is that Asad himself has said the same lines to Tanu two days back.."Tanu tum jhoot bol rahi ho.."
but he didn't say it in front of Zo and Zo didn't know it.. and today it looked like to me that Asad was actually being a devil's advocate.. he was defending Tanu and questioning Zo but it looked like he himself has started having some doubts about Tanu and wanted to hear Zo clearly say that what she means is that Tanu is lying and then prove it.. but unfortunately Zo didn't have any solid proof and like she said right now " only Tanveer can tell why she is doing what she is doing". But Tanveer cleverly avoided anyone's questions by shedding some crocodile tears once again and running away.
Coming to the second scene of the day, here again Asad very specifically asked Zo why she is saying that Tanveer is lying.. And he then allowed Zoya to tell him why she is saying it including about the bills .. he then told Zo that he understands it but where is the bills..And after that also he allowed Zo to tell him about the Parcel being hidden by Tanveer... but then suddenly he cut short Zo's words and told her that now he only wants her to say one thing and that is sorry to Tanu.
Tanu wasn't there initially when they were talking and what I felt was that Asad's tone changed and that sorry part came the moment he felt that Tanu was standing behind him.. he then repeatedly said that Zo has to say sorry to Tanveer and that he cannot give permission for Zo to accuse Tanveer in this way.. this sentence again stood out as he himself had Accused Tanveer of lying but today he wass saying that he cannot allow Zo to do it..
Asad is pig headed but one thing he surly is not is a hypocrite. So after today's episode the impression I got is that Asad really suspects that there is something amiss in Tanveer and he wanted Zo to give the proof he needed to convince himself of that... But if Zo cannot give any proof then he does not want Zo to accuse his best friend whom he has respected and trusted all his life.
And another thing that stood out is that although it appeared that he was defending Tanu, he never once said that he trusts Tanveer and that she will not do such a thing. Instead he said things like Tanu is going through a hard time and Tanu is crying etc..
And then he told Zo that he believes that she had some proof but none of them has seen that proof. So its very clear that he does believe what Zo was saying also but at the same time he does not want Tanveer to be accused by Zo as long as she cannot show that proof.
And then came the line I loved most.. "Aap is ghar ki hissa hai". All this indicates that to Asad Zo holds a place which Tanveer can never hold and that he in fact believes Zo and has started to trust her also but he does not want Zo to accuse someone who is staying at his home as his guest and as his close friend unless she can provide proof of what she is saying so that he can confront that friend with that solid proof.
I really loved the scene in which Zo told Dilshad that it's ok and that if what Mr.Khan wants is for her to apologize then she would do it.. I loved this because this is how sometimes things should be between a husband and wife... sometimes right and wrong does not matter and there comes times when you have to stand by the person you love and do what that person wants even when you know that you are right.. that's called respect and Zo has respected Asad's decision today even when she knew that she was right in accusing Tanveer.
Today I would say that Zo has learnt to respect Asad and Asad has learnt to trust and believe in what Zo says also.. Zo thinks that that Asad does not believe her but that's not what I can decipher from his conversation.. Asad and Zo still has a long way to go but they have taken the steps and I am with them.😃
