Song and Dance

Lots of song and dance in the episode today ... it was the sangeet after all 😉

The usual gratuitous subtle insults offered by the boy's mother to the girl's parents on arrival ... I would be more offended with Umaben if this sort of thing wasn't universal in almost all movies and shows ... and even more, in real life as well. Was good to see Chhanchhan register every subtle barb aimed at her parents ... hope she will do something about it. Today Daadi defused the situation ... tomorrow when the barbs become less subtle, what will Chhanchhan do?

It was nice to see that everyone in both families danced ... as is usual in sangeet functions in real life ... they got each and every member of the cast on the floor ... except for Chhanchhan 😭
Rugved danced with Mansi, Rushali and Ashika ... Himanshu with Simple ... Babuji with the three brothers ... and Ranjana bhabhi danced happily, much to Umaben's disgust ... till her husband dragged her off 😆
Are the cv's going to revive the Mansi-Rugved story as counterpoint to the ChanMan one?

And of course, Bharti dances with Manav ... FK looked most uncomfortable throughout - was his sherwani too tight, or was the man himself too uptight? 🤔
Manav's father seemed most normal ... as did the brothers ... if it weren't for that one big roadblock, Umaben, I would be happy for Chhanchhan to enter the family ... they all seems rather nice, normal people - one big happy family, in fact. Except that Manthan is definitely not happy in his marriage.
SN - Of course, this is ignoring the awful Manav ... I am trying to imagine another actor in his place, so that I can believe in the ChanMan love story.

And speaking of Manav ... I really wish the cv's would give up on that kiss challenge - in the hands of a good actor, it would be cute and naughty ... with FK's expressions it seems lewd and lecherous!!! He looks and sounds like a roadside gunda ogling a passing girl, rather than a man in love teasing the girl he's going to marry. 🤢

Umaben's stooge arrives ... most unsubtle ... Umaben's plans are really not the smartest or the most unusual ... her own son, Manthan, already suspicious of his mother's unnatural enthusiasm, is on the lookout for suspicious happenings ... and finds them in black clad James Bond impersonator.

So the episode was all song and dance ... and as per the precap, Monday the dhamaka will happen, and the engagement will break.
Please cv's, use the time to finalise the new Manav.

Ash, FK was seriously yuck today in his expressions!!! 🤢 And the kiss challenge is getting a bit much ... as though the guy has nothing else on his mind! CV's need to back off on this ... hopefully after the engagement dhamaks on Monday, it will be forgotten.

And by the looks of it, it is not going to ... the engagement dhamaka will happen on Monday ... hopefully after that, Manav will forget about it. Vaise bhi, he doesn't seem to bright on the uptake, his brain can handle one thought at a time. Right now, it's the kiss ... Monday he will have something else to worry about.

Lovely post...well expressed about all the scenes.

Loved the Song and Dance...even Mr, Borisagar himself...the whole episode was executed well.

Though now I have started to shut my one eye everytime FK and Sanaya are in the same frame.

Unbelievable were his stupid smiley expressions when Bharati picked him up to dance.

Forget about shaking a leg...the man cant even shake a finger!

The guy in black looks and acted his part far far better than the Lead himself.

Yes the PH has taken great care to cast the right actors even in minuscule roles...then why oh why this tragedy with ML...

Looks like a stiff mountain sitting there and not like the groom.

Maybe this episode and the next might garner TRPs...but beyond that I wonder if anybody would want to continue...
