I cannot help myself by posting this.
Vrinda's curse stated that their wife satitva would be questioned & the only situation that comes to my mind is of Ramayana where Rama questioned Sita satitva & she had to give 'Agnipariksha'
Also when they returned back to Ayodhya, she was again sent to 'vanvaas' by Lord Rama.
So this should be all inter-related if I am not wrong.
Please give me answers.

As a child I used to always wonder, why Ramayan is a sad story? Seeta being incarnation of a Godess, why suffered so much quietly. But it was materialisation of Vrinda's curse & Rama lived as Maryada Purushottama in his life.

Yes it was the affect of Vrinda's Curse... also another part of her curse said that "Narayan will search for his wife for years and that his wife will be deceived" - This also happens in Ramayan when Mata Sita is deceived by Ravaan and taken hostage and Lord Ram is looking for her

Another part says that "he will become a stone similar to the stone heart that he has" - that is the Shaligram 😳

i ve been thinking of the same.
vrinda's curse will not lead to ramayan.

lord vishnu took birth to slay ravan. ravan had got a boon that he couldnt be killed by any god asura gandharva etc.

so vishnu ji had to take birth as a human being (manushya) to kill ravan.

but yes ultimately sita took samadhi and disappeared below the earth. thats wat vrinda meant when she said that vishnu will have to suffer seperation from his wife.

and ofcourse sita ji's agnipariksha that was when qs were rasied on her purity. so she had to take samadhi.

vrinda caused seperation btwn vishnu and lakshmi ji. but ramayan was a leela of bhagawan vishnu only just as he promised vrinda today that he'll see to it that her curse comes true.

As per DP, before taking birth as Ram Vishnuji went to Goddess ParaShakti's Dham. He asked her, yow will I be able to kill Ravan? As long as you reside in Lanka, no one can defeat him.
Devi answered, when Ravan will insult one of my Vibhutis Sita, at that time, I'll leave Lanka & go, after that you'll be able to defeat him.
When Hanumanji went to Lanka, he saw Devi's temple. He went there, told her, the time for her to leave Lanka has come. Devi answered him, she was waiting for his arrival only, she left Lanka after that.
It's not only Vrinda's curse but to kill Ravan too Ramayan happened.
Shivji too helped Ram, in his anshavatar as hanumanji to unite with Sita. There are many factors combined responsible for Ramayan.

No, I don't think that's the case, see it was preplanned that lord Vishnu will have to take avatar to kill Ravaan, so Ravaan has to do some thing that would lead to Ram killing him, or why else would Ram suddenly embark on a war against Ravaan ? What'd be his excuse ?
