Yes it did
everything was interelated

lord rama's birth was not just 4 ravan's death
but also 2 free south 4rm many demons

thats how he got vanwas
kaikaie loved him the most
but she was tricked by maya and sent ram to vanwas
in sagar's ramayan they showed she going to indra and asking how come she did this mistake
he says she was chosen to do so, coz otherwise rama would have been ruling ayodhya and those areas would remain under threat of asur 4ever
Than she asked
y she only was chosen?
He said becoz she is strong among 3 mothers and could bare all criticism.

Now imagine if ravan had never kidnap sita
would he be killed?
Why rama who is avtar of god vishnu should have such ill fate of separation from wife?
it's Because of vrinda's curse
it's prarbhada of narayan's karma which ram had to face.

Again vrinda was just medium, and she was blessed in return and freed from demon.

Untill i read vrinda stories in detail
i considered the ram 's act of abdoning sita as mud on his clean ckt. Something which always poked me
but now i have the answer.

Everything is destined to happen. Vishnu was aware of the curse and that it will play a part in the future when he takes the Ram avatar he will have to bear the pain of separation from his wife.
It is sad but the Gods went through the pain just like we humans would.

yeah smiley.. it is all related...
As Vrinda Curse Vishnu jee also has to go through all that pain which jalandhar had at that time. That means he also has to be apart from his console ...

So as per the curse Shri Ram was apart from sita .. was painful... and even in Kalyug Prabhu Jagannath also Was Apart from Maata laxmi for a span of time. Mata laxmi Left Jagannath's Home and left him for a time. you will find it in Jagannath Puran... 😊

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I always thought that it was Narad curse on Lord Vishnu that lead to Ramayan. This is the first time I'm hearing of someone else's curse on Narayan leading to Ramayan???

narad did curse... but he also said that.. u ll reach ur wife only with the help of a monkey(hanuman)...

there are many curses.. due to which 1 big ramayan was created..

vrinda's curse played its role terribly... now i understand why devi sita had to bear all the troubles and ninda's...

well 👏👏👏

bravo to vishnu...!!!

like mahadev he also faced too many pains.. and let every curse come true..

Yes, Smiley, Vrinda's curse was one of the many factors of Ramayan. (Factors, like in maths: Ramayan is divisible by Vrinda's curse😆)

As per DP, before taking birth as Ram Vishnuji went to Goddess ParaShakti's Dham. He asked her, yow will I be able to kill Ravan? As long as you reside in Lanka, no one can defeat him.

Devi answered, when Ravan will insult one of my Vibhutis Sita, at that time, I'll leave Lanka & go, after that you'll be able to defeat him.
When Hanumanji went to Lanka, he saw Devi's temple. He went there, told her, the time for her to leave Lanka has come. Devi answered him, she was waiting for his arrival only, she left Lanka after that.
It's not only Vrinda's curse but to kill Ravan too Ramayan happened.
Shivji too helped Ram, in his anshavatar as hanumanji to unite with Sita. There are many factors combined responsible for Ramayan.

Thanks for the information MnxG
But which Devi Purana are you talking about?
Because I am not sure whether it is in Devi Bhagavata Purana 😕
And was Ravan too a Devi worshipper? I thought only Mahiravana and AHiravana were Kali bhaktas...😲

There are many curses relating to Ramayan. As far as I know, the curse which you are referring to is there in Linga Purana and Tulasi Ramayan. So Ramayan is, we can say, a culmination of curses!!

@Surya, this DP & Devi Bhagavat are different.
It is mentioned Goddess Katyayani was living in Lanka, as long as she was there Ravan was undefeatable in war. Ravan was a scholar, he knew many scripture. To win in war, Shakti is a must. He's created "Bhujangaprayat stotra", for Ma Kali, to win over Kalkeya Asuras.

Vrinda's curse stated that their wife satitva would be questioned & the only situation that comes to my mind is of Ramayana where Rama questioned Sita satitva & she had to give 'Agnipariksha'
Also when they returned back to Ayodhya, she was again sent to 'vanvaas' by Lord Rama.
So this should be all inter-related if I am not wrong.
Please give me answers.

Vrinda's curse looked like a redundant, or overlaid curse. Vishnu had already been cursed by Bhrigu for killing his wife Usha (Sukhracharya's mother) while she was sheltering some asuras (that was the incident that Indra alluded to when he equated his killing of Matsyakanya w/ Vishnu's killing of Usha). Bhrigu's curse was that Vishnu would lose his own wife - and that was the curse that was effective in Sita's exile by Rama (the story was narrated to Lakshman by Sumantra). The other curse that Vishnu had was from his dear bhakt Narada, when Vishnu, in order to illustrate to him why his being unaffected by Kamadev & Mahadev being unaffected was not the same. Vishnu had created a scenery of a swayamvar at a king's palace, where Narada told the princess that she deserved to have Hari for a hubby, and he then asked for Harimukh, and was given the face of a monkey. Vishnu appeared at the swayamvara & the princess garlanded him, and Narada realized that he had been had, and cursed Vishnu that he'd be separated from his wife. Now that curse covered Ravan's abduction of Sita upto the point she was recovered.

Vrinda's curse seems to have covered everything - Vedavati, Sita's abduction by Ravan, Sita's exile by Rama and her ultimate descent into bhulok. In some ways, it's like all those piled on curses that Karna received in order to ensure that he did get killed in the end.

My only problem w/ Vrinda's curse - it was temporary. She should have given him a permanent curse, like he'd no longer be worshiped, or that he'd be permanently separated from Lakshmi, not just in his avatars. Aside from that, i agree w/ her.
