Gaurav Chopraa cuts his mane short...

Actor Gaurav Chopraa, who recently featured in Tellychakkar.com's list of Top 10 Best Dressed Actors on the Red Carpet at the Twelfth Indian Telly Awards, is one man on the Indian television circuit who likes experimenting with his looks.

Hence, after going in for a new look on his ongoing show Colors' Uttaran with his attire, he has now cut his mane short.

So what prompted him to get rid of his long curls? "For a few days, we had been shooting for the outdoor sequence and since, it's really hot these days, it was getting difficult for me to handle my hair. So, I went to my stylist just for the usual haircut but, she suggested me to go short. I wasn't very sure about it but since, she insisted, I agreed," he answered.

In fact, the actor kept his eyes shut till his hair stylist gave him the final look, as he states, "When I opened my eyes, I just couldn't help but laugh aloud."

On the response so far, he said, "Everybody has been giving me a second look from my spot boy to my building people and my watchman too."

When asked how he would fit this look with his character Raghuvendra Pratap Rathore, he averred, "I am not very sure about that but am confident that the creatives will work something around that. I am just waiting for the reaction of my fans which I will get once my look goes on-air."
