I know this track is typical saas-bahu drama but if we compare it with other saas-bahu tracks in BV this one is the best...its properly directed...from the comments in forum one can say that it's really difficult to point out who is right and who is wrong and how much are they right/wrong?
this one is better than Makar Sankranti and conference of consummation issue and far much better than cake burning...i am still trying to know why that was even included?
It properly portrays the insecurities of a mother whose son is recently married, fears of newly wedded girls and the best how is the son supposed to tackle such issues because getting stuck b/w mother and wife is the most fearful situation in a married man's life...i would not include Saanchi because she is always a trouble so it hardly matters how she reacts...it also highlighted that even when you do something good in bad way it comes back to you...this track has taught us that it's better to never ever lie or do anything wrong in fixing a relationship like marriage...many people tell lot's of lies in fixing a marriage and later on it sours the marriage relation b/w both the families...there many such issues of lying in marriage fixing in India since we are so particular about the kind of proposal we want...it also shows that however open minded one modern family seems when it comes to divorcees/BV it will take time for them to accept such girls from their heart and there will always be some insecurities regarding them but that does not mean the family or the person is bad

I agree that BV is still a cut above the other saas bahu dramas.

One burning issue I have is the expectation that the woman must completely immerse herself with her new family and uphold their izzat etc but a SIL is called names like ghar Jamai and ridiculed if he shows same kind of support and respect for his Inlaws. Why should the bride's family always be in grovelling mode, cowering and granting every whim of the baraat? Has this attitude evolved since female foeticide became a popular menace? I'm not from India and sincerely really want to know how these attidudes evolved, to show the girls family inferior.
