why DIL should tell all to MIL

I mean, your parents take care of you, cry and laugh with you, make all kinds of sacrifices for you, still how many of you tell them everything? Then you get married and suddenly supposed to trust a whole bunch of strangers who have never done anything for you, who don't know you, whom you don't know, and they must have your full trust and all your confessions?

OMG my teenager hates my every restrictions these days either its her driving or partying, when she realizes her mistake says sorry!! If I used to say sorry to my in-laws for no reason they still use to sulk...

It's said DIL should be treated like daughter. If so then shouldn't DIL be honest?

You may not confide everything. But at least stuff like this (what DS did) should have talked about. Anandi and Shiv could have discussed this together with elders of Shiv's family.

If you keep treating your in laws as "strangers" then why expect apnapan from them for you?

And if this is the case then couple should live separately post marriage. Why live in a joint family then?

There should be honesty in all relationships. If it's not there, then the relationship will be fragile.

Had Anandi and Shiv told about this beforehand then Ira wouldn't learn of this from third parties and wouldn't have felt betrayed.

Ira and Shekhars have been very nice and tolerant to Singhs and Anandi. What else do they need to do to earn her trust? Rather I'd like to know what has Anandi done to earn their trust? Made cakes?!
You hide stuff from them then you're obviously leaving loopholes for trouble in future. You are not earning trust this way.

It should have come from Shiv and not from Anandi.She is finding Annadi at fault for what DS and her son did.If her son did not think it was important enough to tell what wrong has Anandi done?
