Thank you for the update. It's quite ironical that in the Shekhar family it takes the oldest generation to teach the newer generation to foster and maintain broader thinking.

It was a nice episode except the ending. Daddu Ira convo was very well done. Daddu rightly pointed out that Ira was out of line commenting on A being a BV and a divorcee. Ira spoke those things to A given the circumstances and the way it was presented to her. But she also needs to realize that it was not right.

I am glad Daddu understands that what DS did was wrong and they are not terming it right. The approach and maturity with which he Alok and Meenu are dealing with it is wonderful and speaks volumes of their character. Its good that the Shekhars are also getting important roles to play than what they did in the past.

Sachi is too spoiled to reason things out with her. She is also using this as a tool to express her grudge against A. Her constant instigation is not healthy.

Ira is more hurt with S's behaviour which is totally understandable. I expected S and A to talk to Ira sooner than later but doesn't look like that happened. No matter what anyone tells her unless S talks to her calmly, understands her point of view and apologizes for his behavior she will not feel better.

It would be best for the families to talk face to face and solve the issue rather than not facing it.

The J-G-Mannu scene was wonderful. Loved loved loved the poem. It was so inspirational and full of a fighting spirit. J-G interaction and relationship has been shown very beautifully so far and hope they don't mess with this track.

I hope WUs can come a tad earlier so that we can discuss the day's episode there only and also get to know about the serial in case we missed an episode.

Late WUs are not of much use. An hour and a half from now it will be time for second repeat telecast of BV - 2:30 AM IST.

What's use of WUs then?

I missed the first part of tonight's episode and immediately logged on to IF, waited for hours then finally caught the repeat at 11 PM IST.

I understand updaters have constraints and work of their own in real life. But such late WUs...

The excitement to discuss wanes away.

Are WUs only for archive thread now?

Dear TM please do not think I pointed out only you. WUs are late or are not made sticky even if they are done - it's been happening for quite some time now and it's tedious to put up with.

I commented on Suggestions thread too but no one responded. I hope DT takes this up soon.

Else what's the use of joining IF?

Commenting can be done even elsewhere.

No offense to anyone but this is a genuine concern which I hope, is addressed soon.

we updaters are people like you as well Sometimes a lot many hurdles come and we can't come over them sorry if you are not convinced then i leave my place with no hard feelings but there is whole day for you to discuss Today i had a terrible electricity problem here My back up is not available so what could i do? Please be little patient I guess i apologized for it i am very sorry but it was something not in my control Again if you are having problems with me i am ok ask DT to get someone else in my place I am not having any hard feelings .

@Annika: I would like to answer your concern being a member of the DT. I totally understand that the WU, besides giving the happenings of the episode also serve as a thread for discussion. thus not having it is a little inconvenient. I have not taken any offense with your post and appreciate you giving us a feedback.

Honestly we all try our best to bring the WU as soon as possible. But there are certain circumstances which are not in our hands, like in today's case the update was late since there was a power cut. So it was not possible for her to even convey the reason for the update being late. She did mention this in her thread when she posted it. But probably you might have missed seeing it since it was deleted later. Other difficulties like slow internet speed or the forum itself acts up sometimes, posing difficulties in updating. Many of us make it a point to inform the members that the update will be posted late in case something urgent comes up on the personal front.

Personally, I watch the show online and hence I am dependent on the videos to be uploaded before I could update. If there is a delay in the videos being uploaded, it accordingly delays the update too.

Regarding the Wed update, Mahi had already informed the members that she would not be able to update it on time due to personal reasons and in fact asked members if they would like a replacement in case they could not wait for a late update. To the best of my knowledge I don't think anyone wanted a replacement and she has been doing her updates in detail after her personal commitments.

The other problem that we face is when the mods ask for volunteers to do updates, very few members are ready to do it. It does need one to be committed and regular. Nevertheless, we have a system where in each regular updater has two backups hence in case the designated updater cannot post the update on a given day the back up fills her place. Thus as far as possible we try not to make it inconvenient for the members.

All the same, as per your concern, I would try my best to bring the updates as soon as possible on the day that I am assigned. I am sure the other updaters have and will also try their best.

Please! I do understand you guys are just like any of us and are busy or may have problems like difficulty accessing internet or computer etc.

I did not single you out as I have clarified earlier too. I only commented observing late WUs or promptly posted WUs which are hard to locate since they have not been made sticky.

I do understand we have whole day to talk about the show or watch its repeats. Still...sorry...but one feels like discussing or knowing about episode as soon as possible. I guess most members are also active around same time so discussions are done better.

I can't watch the show online since I access net mostly through mobile and videos take helluva lot of time to load.

Many times I end up missing first part of the show for some reasons.

I guess I was being too eager...or even impatient. I am sorry if I came across like that.

I appreciate hard work done by updaters in writing updates and putting each detail therein. They update so well that we do not feel like we missed the episode! Your updates play out like serial in front of our mind's eyes.

Still...if time issue is taken care of a bit more and late WUs are, as far as possible, not a regular occurrence then it would be nice.

I really did not single you out alone. Just a general observation.

As a member I'll try and be more patient. But I also hope late WUs are not as frequent as they have become in recent past.
