Yup, the cv's are hell bent in portraying urban women as doormat and trust me they have a very good reason for it. I had watched this interview of some producer [Ekta I guess...I was bored :P ] where she said that they make serial's for the masses [mostly women] and the viewers enjoy seeing the female protagonist as the sacrificial figure...be it forgiving their abusive husband/family repeatedly or sacrificing their dignity and self-respect.

So this is how things work in the TV industry...

This is my second serial...I watched IPK earlier and that too for Barun and Sanaya's chemistry. Wow, I didn't know that this is what the general masses wants to see. And that too women...I truly hope that this mentality to see the female protagonist as a sacrificial goat really change...gosh this is disturbing to know.

Asad has a classic case of amnesia too...he remembers every little detail of his Tannu but apparently forgets a very important part of Zoya's life about her phobia...and apparently he loves her. He is always judgmental because he doesn't have an ounce of trust in her...and love and trust goes side by side.

Yeah, he's dominating, she's submissive. He can abuse her, verbally or physically, and she'll just take it. She won't do anything to stop it. I don't mind if this happens in daily soaps as long as it is not glorified as something romantic. Every time something like this happens on QH, Mitwa plays in the background - like WHY would you play their romantic tune on a horrifying scene. Being abusive and demeaning is NOT alright, and it shouldn't be portrayed as something romantic either.

I am tired of watching abuse been glorified as love and passion...it's sickening and very disturbing.

In most M & Bs men repent and suffers but here they get away with anything.

Glorification of abuse as love and passion is the norm of Ms Gul...it seems that she likes degrading women and glorifying men.
