What is your reaction to Time magazine's person of the Year?

"You" have been named as Time magazine's Person of the Year for the growth and influence of user-generated content on the internet.

Time cites websites such as YouTube, Facebook, MySpace and Wikipedia, which allow users to interact with the web by uploading and publishing their own comments, videos, pictures and links.

It also praises the public for "seizing the reins of the global media" and filling the web's virtual world.

What are your thoughts on "You" receiving Time magazine Person of the Year? What impact will it have on the future impact and development of user generated content?

"I think it's absolutely silly, have the editors of Time even watched the movies on YouTube? Half of them are just kids messing around or people talking about their own personal day to day happenings. The general public hasn't done anything more amazing this year than they've done for the past ten years. I think this whole thing is a joke".
