dropped ratings and cv's...

i often wonder when the writers of a show see the ratings dropping why do they act indifferent...isn't it obvious that if the ratings are going down and the fans are complaining and giving feedback that there is something not right...most of the time it has to do with the direction the storyline is going...but what do they do? instead of diverting the show away from the storyline that the viewers are not relating to...they continue unabated with it...until the show slowly starts to die...we watch a show because it seeks our interest...it relates somehow to our lives...it brings us happiness and great joy...we can see something in our self in the story...but when the story becomes inundated with scripts like ghost. black magic. someone continuously trying to break the leads apart and most of the time this drama is stretched to the limit...the the viewers begin to disconnect...lost all hope. becomes angry because they cannot identify this in the real world that they live in...it is ok to do fiction but has to be something that is not over the top and viewers can relate to...sometimes the name of the story doesn't reflect the actual story in itself...but in their quest to go outside of the box...they go beyond the limit...i have seen too many good shows end because of some of these reasons...and i believe that the writers and everyone involve needs to have a look at all the forums that are so active and have a listen to what the fans can relate to and what they cannot...this may be can help our shows to not become redundant after a year...
