FF: karva chaud--- Shivs pyar

hey guys..with ash k's request ive written a short fanfic 4 wats goin to hapen next..som of d credit has to go to ash k ... n hope u like d story: it will continue from thursdays episode (wer nakila tries to commit suicide) n pls excuse my hindi...im a beginer in dat field, its not my language

PART 1

with ipshita screaming for shiv wen she see's nakila on the floor uncounscious, shiv n gauri both run towards nakila's room. ipshita runs to nakila, shaking her to wake her up! shiv n gauri enter the room. both shocked to see nakila with a medication bottle in her hand & laying on d floor. shiv cries out...mom....mom...somebody...den he looks at gauri..get my car keys..QUICK!..he den carries nakila down d staires while gauri runs as fast as she can to fetch d keys...wen she enters the room, she hears the tape (past shivs speech), making a empty tape sound. she quickly turns it off, in her head thinking i'll listen to it later, den grabs the keys n heads down to d car.

dada, dadi, mahen...everyone has surrounded shiv holding nakila in his hand shocked, crying. gauri runs down the staires n shiv & gauri get in the car. gauri holds nakila on her lap in d back seat while shiv zooms to the hospital.gauri tries to keep nakila awake: badi ma...badi ma...look at me...nakila all drowsy stuggles to open her eyes. shiv drinving recklessly...asks gauri... is mom responding gauri?....keep her awake...

they reach the hospital....shiv tells the doctor to quickly attend to his mother. doctors quickly take nakila in. shiv sits on the nearby bench, with his hand on his forhead, worried..teary!..gauri sits next to him, she tries to comfort shiv. she srokes his head..'dnt wory shiv, badi ma ki kuch nahi hoga..'..shiv looks at gauri, all teary. gauri says 'but i dnt understand..how did this hapen..shiv looks at gauri..n he remembers his mother telling him ;if u tell gauri, ill leave this house to'...he dsnt say anything..but gauri realises him getting more worried & emoitional.

gauri putting one of her hand on shivs cheek says..it dsnt matter, shiv dnt worry, nothing will hapen to badi ma, i promise..n she smiles to assure him.shiv then leans forward to hug gauri. he rests his head on gauri's shoulder, n gauir hugs him back..dnt worry she mutters..shivs snifs, he thinks to himself..even after everything my mother has done to gauri, look at gauri, she is so concerned 4 my mother-the 1 who is concerned to take her life away.... gauri is truely a achi insaan..wat wud i do with out her..gauri strokes shivs head while hugging

mahen, dada, dadi, palak n ipshita reach d hospital. dada, dadi & mahen r shocked n pleased to see shiv on gauri's shoulder. palak wonders 'wats wrong with shiv, wat is he doin?'..n ipshita face displays a reaction hard to analyse.. dey all quickly reach shiv n gauri.. dadi asks..wats happend beta? wers nakila? wat did d doctor say? dey both suddenly realise every1s here n apart from their hug.. shiv says...d doctors havnt come out yet..ipshita sits next to shiv in d little space on d other side..n tries to comfort him too.. dnt worry shiv, n she tries to raise her hand to strokes his head, b4 she does dat shiv gets up, almost as if he avoided her touch.

everyone waiting all tensed...shiv walking up n down d corridor. dada, dadi, ipsh n palak sittin on d bench. mahen standing worried n speechless against d wall, n gauri walks up 2 him. she lightly speaks to mahen, badi papa..'gabrao maat...badi ma ko kuch nahi hoga... den mahen looks at gauri n smile..like as if to say thank u.

d doctor comes out...evry1 gets up. shiv rushes 2 d doctor..'doctor...my mother...is she ok?'..d doctor den says..'yes..ur mothers out of danger, its ggod u brought her here on time, n its good u tried to keep her awake on d way to d hospital..in cases like dis its very vital u do both these things. however, ur mother took a lot of medication, hence it'll take time to clear all d drug out of her system. mahen asks..so wen ca she come home? dodctor answers parhaps in a couple of days. palak den asks 'can i see my mother?'..doctor says, yes u can, she's consious now but a bit drowsy..but 1st..she asked to see shiv..so after u guys go to see her. gauri wonders why naikla asked to see just shiv, n not palak too.

shiv goes i to see his mother. he sits beside her. nakila struggles to look at shiv, she says..'shiv..y did u bring me here? ... i told u didnt i, if u want to tell gauri the whole truth, den let me leave this house 1st. i cant see u unappy..my so. shiv all upset, says 'how can u do dis to me mum? u no i cannot do this 2 gauri, n i cannot choose between either of you's. if i dnt tell her she'll die..n i cnt see her die!..n u...?'...den he puts his head down..nakila: why cnt u jst live with her 4 as lon as u both have? why cnt u see ur mother happy 4 once?..shiv looks at nakila..she conts: look shiv gauri left her family 4 u now!..if u tell her, who will she walk out to! she loves u dearly, n beta...i can also see pyar in ur eyes 4 her too. shiv looks down..'i dnt love her mum!'. nakila: 'if u dt call dis pyar, my son....'.

...shiv: call wat pyar mother?....nakila: listen... uv compared gauri to me...u love me na?...u said urself...u cnt see gauri die...n 2day u showed too..dat u cnt see me die..if u dnt call dis love den wat do u expect it to be.. she gets up in dispointment as he struggles to understand his mother. he says, palak wants to see u, so i'll leave now. u rest n i'll see u 2mrw. as his about to leave, nakila asks once more..so shiv will u tell gauri? shiv says..uv left me no choice mother, u just rest. nakila smiles,pleased as he leaves. he den tells every1 to go n see her.

back at home, shiv is in d bedroom. he quickly goes & removes d tape: he destroys it. gauri enters d room n finds shiv sitting on d bed facing d window. shiv wonders his mother words, specially wen she pointed out he loves gauri. he also wonders how he can go on lying to gauri, dat he dsnt want to, but has no choice but lie 4 nakila's sake n gauri's- as she now has no 1 becos of him.

gauri brings shivs nite cloths to him n sits next to him. get changed shiv & rest. dnt worry about badi ma, she'll be fine. i just visited d mandir b4 i came back 4rm d hospital, i prayed 4 her. shiv is so overwhelmed by gauri's careness. he is speechless. he looks at her, into her eyes.n wonders how 'achi she is. as he staires in her eye's he remembers wen nakila says to him 'i can also see pyar in ur eyes 4 her too'..he snaps out as he remembers nakila say dat.shiv: 'thanks'..he takes his clothes n head to change in d changing room.

wen he comes out changed he finds gauri entering d room with a plate full of food. he asks 'wats dat?'..'food 4 u...she smiles..i no u havnt eaten yet'..shiv asks 'how do u no'...'i no shiv, i can tel'...den she sits on d bed n places d plate on d table.he den smile...'gauri...im not hungry, but if u insist, i'll eat..but only on one condition, u eat too'... gauri says 'why?'..shiv: 'cos i no u havnt eaten too'....dey both burst out laughing..den shiv sits next to gauri..

Part 2

gauri den reaches 4 d plate...n hands it to shiv. shiv takes d plate on his hand, n he takes a heapfull & insists gauri takes d 1st bite. seeing shiv plead, all pleased gauri eats d first spoon full. she den tells him to eat too. so he takes the 2nd spoon.as they eat he notices around gauri's mouth, a single rice grain. he removes its with his hand n den wipes around with a tissue, d whole time gauri looks directly into shivs eyes. she feels rather wierd suddenly, she hesitates to understand how she feels. dey both go quiet. after dey finish der food shiv rings dinu kaka to take d plate(remember dey hav a phone in d kitchen too: lol).

gauri goes to d changing room n returns changed in a 'satin purple' nite garment. as she sits near d dressing table, taking her jewels off, shiv glances at her at times as he reads his magazine. he looks at her changing, in d mirror. gauri suddenly sees shiv looking at her through d mirror, but she looks away. a calm atmosphere is in their room. all u can hear is d wind howling, as the window is wide open. gauri feels rahter cold, so she goes to shut d window. shiv notices gauri shivver. gauri sneazes once or twice too. she shuts d window n heads to make her bed.

shivs gets all worried. gauri ull catched a cold. how can u sleep on d floor tonight? he holds her pillow again, let me sleep on d floor 2day, u go to d bed. gauri makes accuses: no i havnt catched a cold, its just hay-fever!.

shiv: 'hay-fever?'...gauri..u dnt get hay-fever at dis time of d year!..look i insist u sleep on d bed, its too cold at nights nowadays..ul fall ill!. gauri argues...n wat about u? ur easy at falling ill, how can i let u sleep on d floor..u said ur self..its cold at night time nowadys..so dey both look at each other for a while. shiv wonders wat to say or do.

gauri goes back to fixing her bed...'gauri....'......'no shiv i'll sleep on d floor'....'No gauri...listen.......ders no harm in u sharin d bed is der?'...i mean....its big enough for three!!...he den laughs at gauri....'gauri den not knowing how to react tells him again...dat she's ok with d floor'....den she sneezes again 'AAACHHHOO'..she looks at shiv, almost about to laugh.

...'see gauri....NO....u cnt! i wnt let u'....den he pulls gauri up...n trows her pillow to d other side of the bed n packs d floor beddings away...'good-nite' he says as he goes under his duvet, facin towards d window,sideways. leaving gauri with no choice she walks to d other side n tucks her self under d same duvet facing d door. 'good-nite she replies.

both fall asleep. later at nite shiv turns in his bed n notices gauri fast asleep facing him. she has both her hands tucked under her head. she looks innocent n cute. he den again remembers his converstaion wih nakila in d hospital, n wonders wat to do. wether he should tell gauri somt time soon. den he remembers naikla threath to leave this world. he gets a little teary. den he slowly raises the duvet to cover gauri fully, n goes back to sleep.

next morning...shiv wakes up 2 see gauri getting ready. d birds tweet in d backround. gauri notices shiv waking up. 'good morning shiv'....shiv smiles back...he sits up yawning...'moor..niiing!' i'll get u a cup of tea...she smiles..shiv smiles back as she heads downstaires. he looks at their wedding picture again, n den at d potrait. the more he looks at both d picture together it irritates him. so he walks up to d potrait n brings it donw. he den places it it d draw. n goes to change n freshen up. he comes out to find gauri waiting with his tea. she looks at d picture direction, 'acha shiv...wers dat potrait?' shiv takes d tea cup off her hand....' it didnt look right der, so i moved it...'..gauri confused. she smiles though.

he says aren't u going to drink too? she laughs 'no shiv...im fasting?'...den she heads downstaires..shivs feels more guilty..dat gauri's fasting for him. he dsnt drink his tea...he leaves it beside on the table n heads to his office.

later dat afternoon all d ladies including dadi,shaila, maya n gauri sit around talking. shiv in d meanwhile at work thinks about gauri, how shes fasting 4 him to have a longer life, n everyting his done 2 her which will give her a shorter life. all day goes by with him stressing about still lying to her about d other part of d raaz.

maya is mainly complaining as she' hungry. her husband walks pass her eating an apple. she fumes n tells him how could u eat infront of me wen im fastin 4 u? time goes by...they all den decide as its nearly time to break der fast, so they head to finish getting ready.

gauri goes up to her room. she finds shivs tea cup full...she thinks to herself...oh shiv, he must have forgotten to drink it.as she handles the cup, it falls all over her sari..a pink one. all annoyed she opens her cupbard to reaches 4 another sari. she suddenly notices d sari shiv gave her. the deep red sari with d cream n gold work.its like a instinct reaction, she feels she should wear dat sari. she brings it down n head towards d changing room.

shiv enters d room n quickly gets changed, not knowing gauri's in d changing room. he puts on a white on white designed panjabi suit. as he gets ready, he wonders where gauri is. suddenly gauri walks out 4rm d changing room.she notices shivs back, he turns around to see gauri wearing d sari he bought 4 her. his eyes grow big as he is amazed how beutyful gauri looks in the sari..gauri asks 'wen did u come shiv?'...as she walks to d dressing table to finish getting ready..he dsnt reply..as he continues to stare at her..'shiv?'...he snaps out ..'huh?' he looks away....she laughs lightly...'oh...nothing'....she finishes wearing her sindoor n bangles..she notices shiv looking at her in d mirror at times. his eyes fall on gauri's back, he almost finds it hard to ove his eyes.

gauri finishes off..she noticed wer he was looking n gets all shy, but she dsnt show it to him. she looks at him n asks him if his done. he lowers his eyes as his worried she may have noticed his look..n replies..'yes...come on'..as dey head down, gauri walking in front of him...he watches her walk. he tinks to himself..wat am i doing? why am i looking at gauri like dat. its wrong, she's just likea friend..& i dnt n cnt love her....as der about 2 walk down d staires..all d women walk towards dem. shaila says..wer u going gauri, its time! go up...not down...den dey all head to d roof. d men follow.

up in d roof all of d women wait anciously 4 d moon to arise properly. while all d men sit in d corner watching d women n slightly laughing. anupam coes up. he has a bag of crisp in his hand, hiding it 4rm d women he eats away. he stand next to shiv. shiv dsnt even notice anupam. anupam watches shivs eyes. he sees dem looking directly at gauri. he budges shiv. 'ive been standing next to u 4 so long...wat u thinkin dats keeping u away 4rm reality eh? go on tell me...its not pyar by any chance is it? anupam jokes with him...shiv says 'dnt be silly...'

anupam den offers him d crisp too..shiv says 'no thank u...im ....im not hungry'.. anupam tells shiv 'dnt try & hide anything 4rm me shiv, i can read u like a book. why?... ur fasting arnt u? & dat too 4 gauri? na? shiv gets all worried any1 may hear...'no..no..' n tries to shut anupam up.. meanwhile dadi overhears anupam...'KYA?...' everyone looks including gauri...'esa koye baat nahi he dadi/ its nothing like dat dadi!'....dadi: ' is it true shiv?'...dadi smiles, happy hoping its true. anupam says 'its tru dadi i no, i can read shiv!'...shiv chases him trying to shut him up...

shaila asks wats wrong?....wats true?....shiv says 'nothing'...gauri gets all ancious. anupam shouts 'shiv fasted today...n only for gauri! '...dada, shaila, mahen, ipshita, palak, daksh n d whole lot are shocked. dey all talk amongst dem selves....'really?..everyone asks..gauri is very shocked, but confused too as shiv keeps on sayin 'no...no'..so while everyone teases shiv she truns around, away..as she believes its not true. shiv notices gauri turning away...he den shouts out 'OK...ITS TRUE!'...gauri turns around 2 see shiv looking at her 'ITS TRUE...I DIDNT EAT 4 GAURI'...he blushes as everyone teases him. gauri blushes too, she smile. 'mere pyar ke umar plays on d background'.
