A lot has been said about the believability of the show and unfortunately there have been more criticisms than the CVs warranted. They have done such a good job of making believable characters. Radha and friends are case in point. They are a little in awe of the foreign, mysterious, handsome boy in their modest village surroundings. She comes off as too interested but you know you would feel differently about her if she was meant to be the heroine of this show. In that case, you would feel what Sunny and Saras are doing to get Kumud's attention is very unkind toward the feelings of an innocent girl like Radha. She did nothing wrong. She doesn't know he's attached and she's interested in him. Have you never liked someone who didn't like you back? People do silly things around their crushes when they are into them and if the other person is not interested it looks ridiculous.
This is why the CVs are doing so amazingly. Radha is real and she's more typical than a Kumud. Just think of all the fangirls and how they behave around their favorite stars. Don't they come off as too strong? From the outside in, it looks funny and desperate but it is true and earnest - therefore sympathetic.
Just imagine how hurt she will be when she finds out that she was just sport, bait for Kumud. She might even say that she would be happy to act the part for Saras if he had just been honest with her rather than playing with her feelings. I am not criticizing Saras or Sunny over just a minor thing, they are being very real too. It made for a fantastic show today. The actress has done a brilliant job of it too. But the main credit today, goes to the CVs. Hope the TRP audience gets this subtle drama and appreciates all their hard work.
