When people say that Golden Era of BV ended on 27/2/13 than i cannot see any sense in it

Did not we used to bash and tell that BV has lost it's charm just after AnSh's marriage?

How is storyline the fault of Toral that we blame her for bringing downfall of BV?

Yes she is not as good as Pratyusha but i think that's more because Prats became perfect in playing Anandi after 1-2 years of experience

Pratyusha's Anandi no where resembled real Anandi...she was really good in acting but she was all together a new Anandi with new personality...when people did not like her imitation of childhood Anandi she came up with totally new personality who was submissive and rotali so let's not blame Toral for not being able to become Anandi

I feel the Golden Era of BV ended right after AnSh's marriage

Not even one track was proper related to AnSh...and Pratyusha was very much there as Anandi

Wasn't there saas-bahu drama even before Pratyusha left...she tried to use her impressive bahu skills to celebrate Makar Sankranti at both the places

so the SO CALLED REAL FANS OF BV please come up with better excuses to hate Toral or else stick to the fact that according to you Toral is not Anandi...do not blame her for everything which goes wrong in BV

I agree with you that golden era of BV ended with ansh marriage. After that anandi and shiv mostly did was solving singhs problem or interfering in jagya life. Why cannot they separate the tracks of singhs and ansh. They should be included only if necessary but not always. You made anandi a housewife and shiv a typical husband not thinking about or suggesting a carrier for anandi. The main essence of shiv character is diluted here as he liked anandi as an independent girl who has her own identity irrespective of her family. Hope to see a string track of anandi and shiv working together for the people of undaipur. Enough of anandi heroic acts which r so unrealistic now.

This topic will be closed due to comparison of PB and TR. Before it is closed, I would like to share my POV.

I have been reading all these negative comments about Toral, Sid and BV in general, and refrained from making posts so far, trying to stay away from petty fights.

In general I agree with your posts, but I have to disagree on some parts of this post.

@ bold - disagree; PB was very average as an actor, her expresseions towards Shiv were not perfect half the time; she never gave him loving expressions; half the times they were cold, half the time frowns or anger; TR much better than her; at least she can display affection. May be age makes a difference in the maturity level and acting skills; Some of TV's best actresses are older and mature such as Drashti, Sanaya, Suhasi, Sakshi, Sriti.

@bold - agree; it ended with Ansh marriage and Anjum exit. Although it is still one of the better serials. and I still hope a lot from it.

I think it was not pratyusha fault for the cold expressions as that is what cvs wanted her to express at that time. Once she realized her love towards shiv she was very good at showing the affection in the dream sequences and talking to shiv photos. Her last 2 episodes her eagerness to meet and confess her love was so well portrayed. I am sure she would have done very good as a happy anandi loving shiv. It was just the wrong time for the new anandi. Emotional and romantic scenes pratyusha scores way better than Toral.

even to me Prats was not excellent and she was good with emotional scenes only

the fact that she did not look at Shiv properly was more because her character was not in love with him at that point but when Toral came Anandi was madly in love with Shiv

people say Toral looks old enough to be a mother of two kids but who says that Shiv looks really young?...i would not have been surprised if Shiv would have turned out to be a widower and father of two kids...if Toral's Anandi looks really old than even Shiv is not young...even he is perfect to be father of kids

Have you observed cvs r making Sid look more matured with T than prats. He is made to wear little beard and look a bit matured too. He is not shown clean shave regularly. I don't agree Sid looked very old with prats. Both Sid and prats different personalities made them look unique and don't take me wrong but prats is more beautiful with a lot if depth in her eyes. Sid will definitely look good as a father with kids.

I know you are an ardent BV supporter and I respect your opinion. But i don't see eye to eye with you on this.

@bold - I don't think it is CV's fault; she could not emote properly in several scenes and that is my POV and although I respect your opinion, i don't agree with you. I am not sure if she would do happy anandi very well, because part of marriage and being love with your husband, is getting physically close. Toral is more comfortable doing a hug or a smooch than Prats. People are different, and Prats was really young, so there could be a reserve there. Prats was good in emotional scenes, specially very good at crying, but I got too tired of her crying and teary looks and slow dialogue delivery. Each of us are different and look at things in a different way, so it is okay to disagree. Romantic scenes Toral scores way higher for me because she can hug and press her cheeks against Sid more comfortably, even allows him to lightly kiss her cheeks. I am sorry i would not expect that from Prats. I don't like to discuss people's looks, and compare them, because everybody is different, and each person has his/her own beauty and charm.

@bold - agree, last 2 episodes she smiled and loved him and I liked her for loving Shiv; because she always gave me the feeling that she preferred Shashank to Sid. I could be prejudiced, but that's how I felt.

Yes, agree Sid will look good as the father of 2 kids...looking forward to that track😉

let's not post any more comments comparing the actors. it is not allowed under Forum Rules. I know we feel saddened by biased criticisms every day, but best thing is to ignore.

BV story will survive for some more time until another great show arrives...and that has not arrived yet😊

By Indian standard BV is still one of the good shows.
