Music has been an integral part of the indian entertainment industry...we are the only ones who use music to express love so beautifully on the screen...there have been many songs and background music pieces on television..but none as beautiful as Mitwa...
Mitwa is exactly like the two people it is played for...its conservative and basic in its lyrics..just like Asad...and arranged in many layers with a contemporary touch to it...just like Zoya...Since the time QH has begun...Mitwa has evolved from being the background music to becoming the unofficial anthem of the AsYa love story...as its status and importance in the story has evolved, so has its arrangement...we have now seen a sad mitwa (mangalpur grave scene), an intense mitwa (after they come home from mangalpur), a teenage love like mitwa (one that played when asad hugged zoya in the bathroom)...and it hits the bullseye with every version...its versatile..just like the two love birds it defines...three cheers for the composers!!!đ
