Well this Topic is more about a Movie then the Actors...so it may contain some Spoilers for ppl who are planning to watch a Movie..

Recently saw Aashiqui 2 ...and was Surprisingly pleased with the Movie...

This movie out of blue blew me away...

In this age where movies are mostly run in the name of Actors or their Affairs. A time when Masala movie , Sex Comedy and A certified movies having Cheap Item Songs ...comes a simple lovestory filled with Intense Drama..

Both the Actors where Surprise Package and more then that they completely did justice to the Character . I especially loved RJ Character and Aditya played it Wonderfully , a SuperStar on his downfall , immersed in Alcohol founds a reason to live his Life in Aurohi and soon realizes he is being a "Pairon ki Bedi" of Aurohi...and decided to to give up on Life for Her . A complete Weak Character with real self esteem issues yet there was something Endearing about him and maybe that was the reason why Aurohi tried her Level best to save their Relationship...

I really liked this Story written in a very subtle manner ...Beautifull..

Being a Bhatt Movie , I actually expected some Steamy Scene but was surprised that there was nota 1 such..ohh there was but not to the Bhatt Camp ka Level...lol... So as Mr Mahesh Bhatt himself says Sex Sells... I am glad this movie showed one just need a Better Scripted movie coupled to work ...

This movie left me with 90's feel where there used to be simple love stories and Melodious Music...

I agree there were some LoopHoles in teh Story but I guess low expectations and Emotional Connect with the Charcaters and their Story made me forget them...

There were some nice scenes:

When RJ first see Aurohi singing and happily sings along with her.

When ever RJ see Aurohi singing ...there's this Blissed smile pasted on his face with tears in his Eyes...ahh Loved it...Beautifully performed by Aditya...

Aurohi's last Breakdown...She calling him Coward..

RJ taking money from her Wallet and Aurohi watching yet it does't utter a word...

Had only one Complaint...why the hell they din't used Milne Hain Mujhse Aayii song in the Movie...Why.??

very nice topic..

yes, apparently RJ as a character was very weak at his confidence level, dats why his sacrifice was d only way to free arohi.

nd duhh, Aditya Roy Kapur, shined as Rahul, he delivers such a convincing performance nd makes sure that every1 pities Rahul, his intensity as RJ, d expressive eyes, everything was so beautiful to watch.

I agree here, dat whever Rahul watches Arohi singing in d recording studio, its blissful 2 watch his expressions, it mesmerized me so much.

Shraddha was perfect too, she looked so pretty nd had some top notch chemistry wid Aditya.

This was d only good film dat bollywood present in recent years.

I too have issues with them not using "Milne Hai Mujhse aayi" in the movie as well.I mean if you saw ARK on your television sets,giving his all to the concert performance of the song and those lyrics when he sings,"Toota hua saaz hoon main.Khud se hi naaraz hoon main.Seene mein jo kahin pe dabi hai.Aisi koi aawaaz hoon main.Sun le mujhe tu bin kahe..Kab tak khaamoshi dil sahe..",you are bound to whine about it.

It always strikes the right chord.

I lurved,ARK throughout and apparently Shraddha wasn't bad as well.I loved the movie on whole!<33

i completely agree here, i was disappointed dat they dint use d song.

ARK performed so brilliantly in dat song wid d intensity he ha din d song video, i really wanted 2 see him performing d song in d film too..

he is one man who looked effortless, be it his gestures, his postures, his way of lip sync d song, his expressions, everything was top notch.

I soo rooted for a Happy Ending...

very rare movie where one actually expects to have a happy ending for a Character...

I so wished a somehow Rahul manages his life ...comes out of his Alcoholism...

Aditya was soo Good...that guy was really Bloody Brilliant...

His Body Language...his Eyes just projected the right amount of Intensity , Passion and Love...

Hope he gets going soo...coz the guy has a Talent...

Ahh tell me about it...I soo waited for that Song...

Thought that may be Its RJ come back song to the Music World...but when till the very end it dint appeared I thought they'll use it in the end credits rolling...but damn there too they dint used it...

And like you pointed out why that song is so watchable...only coz of ARK...his Intense Passion is top notch delivered there...

he was magnificent..

his body language was unbeatable...

i cud understand Rahul, becos he did try nd after failing in his attempt , he saw arohi was on d verge of sacrificing her career ns so he did it..

Aditya breathed life into d chaarcter, star of d show for me.

awesome topic i agree...the movie was fabulous with there being so much love in it and equal amount of pain everybody had tears in their eyes after the movie got over it was awesome and i too missed the milne hai mujhse aayi ...why wasnt it there :(
