So you finally quit Tumhari Disha?
Yes. The parting was amicable. If there is a great track in the future, I am open to going back to Tumhari Disha. hitList was where I first went public about my displeasure (uncomfortable doing bold scenes; inability to adjust to non-fixed schedules) about my role.

Did you have Kesar in hand before you opted out of Tumhari Disha?
I know what you're hinting at. I didn't quit Tumhari Disha because I was offered Kesar. The fact is, I had stopped enjoying Tumhari Disha. I put in a lot of effort to rejuvenate myself, but failed. The show had gone completely haywire for me.

How did Kesar happen?
I received a call from Madhura, the creative person at Kesar. I play Kadambari, the princess of Jaipur. I am shown as the goddess of art of living. Kadambari can read anybody's face and predict what untoward incident the future holds for that person.

You have a new look in Kesar?
I am very happy with this new all-white look. I'll be wearing white shirts, pants and blazers. It's great as I love the colour white.

Looking for other roles?
I will be required to give about 10-12 days a month to Kesar. That would leave me with ample scope to work with other production houses as well. I can work for shows outside Balaji, as I am not under any contract for Kesar.

Hi

Thanks for the Info..oh well so even stars of TD have started to admit how the show has gone haywire well now they probably realise how the viewers feel but I think Guhas will never learn they will keep dishing out brainless story ideas and characters...

Samy U cheater...tumne mujhe DK in black sherwani PM nahin kiya...isliye Disha in black dress. My Pagdi I donated to my partner Bombi...she renamed it as Akbar ALi😆
