we saw HOW Sam was chosen to be Luci's Vessel and Dean was True Vessel of Micheal..before Adam was picked...

so here is my curiosity/Intrigue/confusion..call whatever...

As Sam was THE vessel for Luci the Fallen angel king of hell and all (had to take DB copious amounts for hosting him) and hence was Chosen to do the TRIALS for Hellgate Closing...

So... Dean Being The True Vessel for Michael oldest Archangel and all...has to do the needful in relation to Angel Tablet??

or is it Cas's Responsibilty??

Is the Luci-Mikey battle has been taken anoher notch higher ...and the play ground (for them) being Heaven/hell?? while earth still stand to lose everything???

is it possible that even being in Luci's cage..the Arch angel..rather angels...(not withstanding fallen one) Still Manipulating from where they are??

Could it all be leading to "The end" ??
i mean could all the this storyline be leading( however circuitous...thanks to the brothers chosing free will and "screwing destiny in it's face" ...) to the events shown in 5x04 "The END" ...leading to Dean being what "future dean " was..Cas being what "Mortal Cas" was..and Sam..becoming Samifer?? a possible end to the Show..in whatever season they choose??

I understand what you're saying about Dean having to do the needful related to the angel tablet as he was Michael's vessel.

Could this be the reason why Cas said he need it to keep the tablet safe from Dean as well?

If Sam's revenge on the demons is closing the gates of hell, wouldn't Dean's revenge on the angels be closing the gates of heaven forever? What would happen to Cas then?

To be honest, I would not like "The End" ending. No matter what happens, I want the boys to be always be family and never lose the trust they have on each other. They can't choose free will and come this far only to be faced with the whole Lucifer crisis again... but I guess we'll see in 2 episodes.

but mahi...metatron did say that everything was pre ordained...written down already...only the details might change but the end is what will happen which is destined dear...that's y the whole issue of 5x04 cropped up

hey L... since i havent seen the epis after taxi driver... i dont know what is happening.. and what may happen... so i will respond to these posts after i see all the epis... otherwise... the suspense will be over for me...

He did say that everything was written down but did he say that what is destined to happen will happen? I might have missed that part.

What I take from what he said is that it's all about choices. The choices humans make. The choices Sam and Dean have made and continue to make.

See, I think of destiny in a slightly different way. I think we all have choices that lead to certain destinations.. these different choices have different destinations that are hard and set in the destiny but the ultimate choice is yours! Which path you choose and ultimately which destination, is up to you.

Had Dean and Sam caved in and let Michael and Lucifer fight their battle, that would have led to one outcome - The End.

But the boys chose family, they chose each other and that led to the totally different outcome.

It's a crazy theory, I know, but that's just my theory. 😳

i see the drift dear...

still if choices makes destiny...then why did Azazel make deals...Dean made deals..and Micheal did say that they made Sam and dean play in to them..and that it was all planned...if choices were everything..wouldn't Lucifer's seals remain unbroken in the first place??
