I too wonder. My uncles are not bad😆 But I feel they are selfish and care for their personal life more. Or it is because of their wives. My grandmother stays with them max for one month and is back with us again.
See, honestly, there are certain things which she does, that I don't like too. But that does not mean you have to ignore them, is it? When I was Parvarish in my room, my grandmother keeps asking question especially about Raavi😆 I cannot tell her on her face not to disturb me. That is not respect and that is not what I have been taught. I either nod my head, or give her explanation or tell her I will explain in the ad break. Problem solved. It is always possible for me to make a big issue out of small things like this.I guess people feel that it is parents duty to take care of them and not vice versa. If they give them money every month, their duty is done.

It's not that they may be inherently bad. Although, some are. Everyone is elfish, it's just that some people are much more tan others. But, it wouldn't be right of me to comment on your uncles without being familiar with the situation.Yes, grown ups sometimes ask many questions. Even my mother asks things related to tech and stuff. I simply tell her, like you do. Or if i am watching something, I tell her that I will tell her later after I am finished with the thing. I think at that age, they just want some attention so that they feel as if they still matter. That's why they want to take an interest in the kid's lives. And it is pretty douchey of some to just shrug them off. We all want to matter, if nobody cares about you, it's pretty bad situation. Even more when you are on the brink of death.Yes, that's a thinking that has been prevalent in the current time. Needless to say I disagree. Although it's not just about the grandparents, I see parents also behaving with kids like that. They think that after they pay the dues, their work as a parent is done.
