Yes, she is insecure. Despite having her husband live with her, he is not fully with her. As one part of him remains with Dilshad. I cringed too. Not when Shirin was asked to be listened, however. I cringed every time Rashid was defending Dilshad. I thought, as a father, he would be more about what was said for his children.

Anger and frustration with Shirin just never lasts. Initially, I dismissed her as a lightweight - couldn't wait to FF her scenes. But she's turned out to be quite an interesting character. And I can't help feeling sorry for her. Here's a woman who sees her marriage as a sham. And she's just so simple-minded that she wears her heart on her sleeve. No malice, no false pretence. Just goes directly to the supposed source of her trouble to confront it, no matter where or when.

Am waiting to see how the CVs develop this character.
