Today's episode was so beautiful. Although not what I was expecting it to be, it still turned out to be very impressive.
Zoya, is a girl. It's very typical for a girl to want a guy to confess to her first. However hurt or emotionally unavailable Asad is, I think a small nod or a gesture (that he's ready to accept to Zoya atleast) is required on his part. Most girls in this forum too are like Zoya. Bubbly, lively and yielding. Asad needs to understand that. If he can't say it, he should write it. Video record it. Anything! The only thing he constantly says is 'Main janaab Rashid Ahmed Khan ka beta hoon!' If he's gonna be hell bent on keeping Zoya away this way then he's only proving to be equal to his father. He's old now. Old as in not graying or anything, but old enough to understand and evaluate his life. He likes someone and his ammi likes her too! At least he could've said that I'll marry the girl you choose even if it's Zoya.
Asad, is bad at verbalizing his feelings. Past experiences and constant dirty and low lying taunts from the society have made him tough. He is extremely gullible in certain matters like matters relating to his mother and sister. He accepts that and is ready to bring down the people opposing them in a second. Zoya has become a part of his life too. I won't say is unknowingly. It's pretty obvious to him. Today's episode showed Zoya confused over her feelings. For her it's still unknown. Asad accepted it today. He did. And I know tomorrow also he's gonna say that I don't want to marry you, Zoya. Sometimes I get confused. With all the comedy and fun fights between them, there's no real talk. Zoya never tells him how she's wanted to have a life ahead or how she's been wanting a man in her life. Till she doesn't talk, he's not going to gain any confidence and even attempt to confess to her.
It's a two way thing. I really wish for a small scene of bonding between the two. They've bonded only twice before. When they were under intoxication and when Zoya spoke about her parents. They need to talk about their lives, not with each other but something that will make them realize that it's them that they want. That's all I wish for.
Did I make any sense up there? I guess not. 😆
