Asad is not emotionally challenged. He is what you call emotionally damaged. Its his weakness and not his vice. He will always be emotionally damaged. His relationship with Zoe and the twists in store for them will only worsen the damage. He is tortured and scared. Emotions terrify him because he believes they will never bring him or his loved one any happiness. He will suffer and make his soulmate suffer. He has seen the future since childhood. And he knows its coming up - he can just feel it. For him and for Zoe.

Zoe is not childish or bird-brained. This effervescence is her refuge, her mask and her face to show the world. You take away her jokes and her humour and her vulnerability will be showcased to the world. She hides behind her own laughter. Asad cuts through that fortress and all her vulnerability and her need to be loved comes gushing forth. Its not being desperate as we, the normals, think. Its being desperate to find your way back home because everything is so dark and scary outside . Home. To Asad.

Just saying. :-)

Thank you. Awesome fun would be if both Asad and Zoe accept that they love each-other but right at that time, they realize that cannot be together. 😆

Thank you. So jaao, yaar. Creatives likh kar kab kaa so chuke aur actors shoot karte honge 😆...Whatever the decision of Dilshad, its the test of love for AsYa that is on its way. Irrespective of whose name is taken - Zoe or BCA.

I have a working night .😆

Totally agree with you.
Asad and Zoya may seem like they are poles apart when if you strip them down of all their covers you will find two severely damaged persons who are very similar. Both of them are vulnerable and fears rejection.Asad was abandoned by his father and left his family to fend for themselves. That's scarred Asad for life.Similarly Zoya had felt abandoned by her own dad as she wondered why didnt he look for her.
Both of Asad and Zoya's coping mechanisms are different.Zoya hides behind her laughter and jokes while Asad hides behind his OCD...his need to control every aspest of his life.
I dnt think Asad is emotionally challenged. He is just too afraid to open up and let his emotions take control. We have seen he lets them slip a little and then he retorts back to his old self.
Asad has already planned his future and that future doesnt have space for love.
Zoya on the other hand wants love. She wants to feel protected and have a family.Asad may think she is childish but its that behaviour that Zoya uses to hide her realities. She cries one moment and then is jovial the next while Asad would be sulking the whole day. That is what's unique about Zoya. Her pain is so intense that its become a habit of her to push them aside and laugh. Why laugh and not cry?She has cried so many times and it doesnt help her or anyone. She puts up this happy face, this facade because if she doesnt then she will open all the doors to her vulnerabilities.
Both are damaged emotionally and it does affect their mentality and outlook of things. The best way for them is to heal together. Its always better to share your sorrows with the persons who can understand your plight.

Thank you, Ameilia and it is so well-said. Yes, both AsYa are damaged people - its just that Zoe knows how to handle her damage as long as it doesn't have to be about dealing with Asad. Asad could never rise from the damage while Zoe hides it. At least, Zoe is trying to live - but now, Asad is a chink in her armour and hence her switch between her two polars have increased.
