i thing GREY is reality...i dont believe in plain BLACK or WHITE.

but decorating n ornamenting GREY is today's trend

people buy them, bcoz they dont have much choice...content wise not many good films are there...plus marketing n promotions play a major role

Also coz people like someone to stick it to da man (a.k.a the government... all corrupt themselves)... and get away with it!

They get to live vicariously through these villains...at least the Don and Dhoom style ones. (Not talking about the Ghajini or bhai types.)

It is also about seeing the smarter person come out ahead.
Kinda like video games.
If the villain is cunning and wily (not cruel and sadistic), then outrunning bumbling cops or even intelligent ACPs and what-have-you's makes it thrilling.

yeah ..all movies should be about Parenting and kids going to school and doing their homework..

and then uncles going to the Job where the saree clad women watching kyunki saas bhi kabhi bahu hoti thi while the maid is working.

The point...it is art and art should have freedom to take any facet of life...

and also..It is your problem if you only see Satya killing and not Satya getting Killed..isn't it??

Because Bollywood will copy anything that Hollywood does, and in Hollywood they have glamourized crime for ages. Far be it from our filmmakers to do some original scripts.
