I will never compare QH with IPK... the heroes are different. ASR looked down all women except his sister...Asad respects all women except Zoya.

So the chemistry is going to be weaker, simply because, Asad is not a domineering male. That anger which was a part of ASR's personality and his arrogance which added to his sensuality is not possible with Asad. And Zoya will not take it like Khushi. She demands an explanation to the extent of cornering him pestering him with her whys...and Asad runs away from him...a man who hides when he is cornered!

It is not the sufi song or the gust of winds that work for me...it is the actual dialogues. A show like IPK or QH cannot be watched offhand like that. I am not even talking about the so called 'layers' here. IT IS THE ACTUAL DIALOGUES...Agreed the story is not entirely practical..Was Romeo and Juliet practical?

But Asad does speak of his unreasonable liking for her in spite of who she is...after the Rain sequence...and Zoya explained it to him..."Kyunki aap mujhe pasand karte hain...aur main bhi aap ko pasand karti hoon"...Both of them were laughing due to the bhang, so the seriousness of the declaration was lost on both. And there is no reference to a physical attraction anywhere there...I think today was the first time Asad actually feasted his eyes on Zoya after the first episode...happens...physical attraction will follow.

IPK- I am not a raving mad fan of ANY SOAP, but I must say IPK had something to it. I find that magic in QH too...problem is, Gul has been careful after the chemistry that gobbled up the previous show(I am speaking about fangurlism...at its ugliest in IPK)...she will give it out measured here in QH. Sems to be working...IPK nd QH are the only two shows I can rewatch...not just for the chemistry, but for the dialogues and the situations conjured up...(yes, conjured up...so it is not real. It is Fiction, a Rom Com..that is all the reality I expect! I don't find much reality in any of the Hollywood rom coms also for that matter...)

I think it all boils down to one thing...Do you believe in love at first sight?
If you don't, you will not feel anything for QH or IPK.

On what basis do you say she feels nothing for him?

Why did she tell Ayan, "bhaijaan ke screw loose hai, but he is the way he is because he has gone through a lot as a child", how much more understanding can one get.

On the song: It is not he male describing a female, but a woman's heart singing out loud, knowing her beloved feels for her too...Bindiya is not a physical attribute..It is her whole persona that has attracted him to her. She highlights her accessories and not her features...it is a girl proud of her beauty and personality...content that she is deserving of the one she loves...because she is way younger to him, and wants to fit in badly...her words are immature...but her love is mature.
