"Mr.Khan ka dil patthar ka banaa hua hai'nahin unke dilko patthar kehna, patthar ki bhi insult hogi!" Zoya ranted her frustration in the bathroom. Asad Ahmed Khan is no doubt a very complicated man but little does he realize that he is the one responsible for his complicated personality. He calls Zoya a 'confused girl,' but again, who is responsible for that? Of course, Asad! No wonder, Zoya is frustrated by his kabhie haan,kabhie na attitude. Zoya has a lot of patience with a guy like him. Well, even she is helpless, because 'dil hai ki manta hi nahin.' We saw that at the airport yesterday. Despite being kicked out by Asad, she was ready to run into his arms as soon as she saw him there.
Poor girl tried her best to reason with him today, confronted him but getting Asad to admit his feelings is worse than pulling teeth out.
Asad's mind has always controlled all his actions and feelings but little does he realize that lately his heart has started ruling his actions and thoughts. Unfortunately, we all have an on and off switch for our mind, but there is none for our heart. The heart listens to no one. It's a wild animal, likes to run amok, do as it pleases, cry when it's hurt, get angry when challenged and loves without boundaries. Asad's 'patthar dil' has started beating these days. Just like a drummer starts beating his drums with an orchestra; slow and soft beats initially but as the music escalates into a melody, the beats of the drum get louder and rhythmic, such is the case with Asad's heart. Earlier, his patthar dil would beat occasionally, but now that this orchestra of love has taken off, the drum just can't stop beating. The engagement ring was like a signal by the conductor; the drummer cannot control himself and the slightest provocation makes his heart take over all his emotions.
Poor Asad, doesn't realize that he is getting trapped in his own game here.
"Main aise pak rishte ko mazaak nahin samajhta." Didn't he just say that last week? Well, today, Zoya gave it back to him. He had no answer. Like a henpecked husband, he just nodded gently when she confronted him about this statement.
"Agar aapko jaagte huye khwaab dekhne ki aadat hai tho main kya kar sakta hoon?" Another classic statement by Asad, who just minutes ago, was dreaming about her while holding her earring. We know he can have vivid dreams about his ladylove. Asad, just stop using your mind for a while. If you really want to use your brain, use it to bust Tanveer. Just let your heart guide you when it comes to Zoya.
Thank God Asad was at home when Ms Dumb vamp planned on electrocuting his beloved Zoya. He saved his Zoya just in the nick of time. Oh boy, was he scared or what? His bechara dil could not hold back. He gave her the most intimate and passionate hug he has even given her (even in his dreams he wasn't so passionate)
I am curious to see what excuse he comes up with tomorrow.
"Agar aapko kuch jo jaata tho main ammi ko kya mooh dikhata?" I am sure he will say something along those lines. Zoya should stop confronting him anymore. She should give him a little bit of attitude and show some nakhras. After all, she is his legit fiance. This was not a fake engagement. Even Asad admitted to it when he was alone. Zoya don't even try to remove the ring. Like the meteor shower, it's destiny that has played its game once again.
Both Zoya and Asad need to stop fighting with their hearts. They can read each other's hearts; high time they read their own hearts and realize wo dil kya chaahta hai.
Observations:
- Asad and Zoya have crossed a fine line since the engagement. Even if they deny it, they are acting more and more like hubby and wife. She barges into his room (nothing new) but he doesn't bother to button his shirt till she ogles him on her way out. He barges into her bathroom (of course to save her) but makes no excuses or no apologies.
- The ring is here to stay. Very positive sign. How can Zoya ever say yes to anyone else after this? Let's not worry about Ayaan. Maybe these romantic scenes they are talking about are going to be Ayaan's dreams.
- Nikhat's statement- ab Humeira aur Ayaan ki ek nai prem kahani shuru ho gi. Again a positive sign.
- Badi B and Razia's banter shall never end. I wouldn't take any of their threats to each other too seriously. These old women need something to do.
- Dilshaad will notice how mesmerized Asad is with Zoya in her Indian outfit. Mashallah, she does look gorgeous. Can't wait for tomorrow.
