My post is not related to the current track, but its about Asad-Ayaan's relationship. A few things i noticed about them today.
I was watching some old episodes of Qubool Hai and noticed something very crucial between the lines of the story.
You all remember the time when Shireen made Ayaan promise on her life that he will not meet Asad and at the same time Dilshaad did the very same with Asad?
I was watching an episode where after all this drama, Ayaan still wanted to meet Asad but Asad clearly said no as for him his Ammi's pomise means alot more than meeting Ayaan. He clearly said it to Ayaan. Infact when Ayaan was hurt and hospitalized, Asad still didn't go in to meet Ayaan. But Ayaan wanted to continue meeting Asad despite the fact that Shireen had made him promise.
You can say its because Ayaan is younger and more boyish, but i beg to differ.
In another instance, very recently, when Ayaan's engagement was being decided, he kept his condition forward saying he will only get engaged to Humeira if his Bhaijaan, Asad was allowed to come at the wedding. And at the point, he said that the person who is the most important in my life, the one who taught me how to walk has to be present!
In presence of Shireen, he still declared Asad to be the most important in his life.
Whereas Asad clearly refused to go to Ayaan's engagement as that would mean stepping on the threshold of a place which snatched his mother's happiness!
What i mean to say is, where for Asad his first priority is his Ammi and then Ayaan, for Ayaan its his brother first then his mother apparently!
Its just an observation. Please don't take it as a mother vs. brother debate as both the relations have their own beauty whatsoever.
Neither do I mean to say Asad loves Ayaan any lesser. I'm just talking about the priorities in the brothers lives!
Why I think this is so?
Simply because Ayaan spent his learning period with Asad and not with Shireen. So that period has been imprinted on his mind and he sees Asad as his parent figure more than he sees Rashid and Shireen. Whereas Asad had to deal with supporting his mother and sister all his life after his father left him so gradually his first priority became his mother.
I see alot of importance in this. Why? Because this story has a great emphasis on the relation of the brothers.
