I don't get this! Purvi gave Pari because she did not want Ovi to suffer the pain of losing a child. Secondly, she thought that the baby was a means to strengthen the bond between Arjun and Ovi, With the truth now out, both objectives are nullified. Ovi has already suffered heartbreak. Besides, Pari is going to remind Ovi always of the Arjun-Purvi relationship. Consequently, the child will only tear the couple apart rather than bring them together. More so since Purvi is still a living, breathing presence and there is every danger of her walking back into their lives even if involuntarily.
Why then is Purvi insisting that the child should stay with Ovi? I can understand her sense of duty towards Onir, maybe she is even half in love with him. But why does she not want to take her baby out of the Arjun-Ovi equation? Why not shower all her maternal love on the child and spare Ovi's feelings? Why not allow Ovi the choice of staying with or leaving Arjun? And I am sure Onir will not object and will only be too happy to take the baby away, since he had already accepted her with her child! Of course, Arjun won't object either since he has already requested her to take Pari!
What crap are these writers churning out?
