Now i just read a topic while browsing through a lot of out topics. It was about kumud's skin colour not being light. Well,i have a few thoughts on this.
Number one= Jennifer winget is wheatish bordering on the dark. Nothing Wrong with that. Apart from her great acting skills,i think this is the reason why SLB chose her as his Kumud just after a look test.
Number two= A lot of people have compared Jenny with Aishwarya Rai Bachhan- the beauty aspect. Because of the similar roles in SW and HDDCS. Now, This is stupid. Aishwarya's beauty ( just beauty in this case) is world renowned- it has fascinated cameramen and filmmakers all over the world. Everything about her face is termed perfect. Julia roberts called her " the most beautiful woman in the world" and its true. No matter how much u hate her for anything, she is flawless,Her skin,hair,and figure ( before preg). So its stupid to compare jenny with her. Jennifer is cute and pretty. But a lot of other tv stars are way prettier. They are far more beautiful. You have agree with this. There are lots of tv actresses who r so stunning with and without make up that they can be compared to aishwarya. But not jennifer. She isnt as beautiful. But thats the point and thats why She gets so much love from fans.
* She is like us. She is very relatable. You can find girls looking like Jennifer everywhere- Cute and pretty. Not stunning as if we cant take our eyes off but pleasing to the eyes. Thats Jennifer for you. One of us. Not one of the stunning divas with perfect everything. She is Like one of our friends. This can be totally justified with the offscreen pics of hers.
* Like i mentioned,a lot of other tv stars look way too amazing compared to jennifer. But how many have her fan following. They have looks which can fizzle out jenny's simple face but they dont have her talent. Which the key to her success.
In all, Jennifer's natural skintone is wheatish bordering on the dark. It does not matter what they showed you in dmg. am sure lights were used to enhance her colour then.Its even used in the meena bazaar photoshoots. God knows why. But the jenny we see right now in sw is the real jenny. Wheatish-darkskinned which has further tanned due to outdoor shoot. But she is still pretty and cute. And beautiful. And she is perfect as the simple kumud because of her simple girl-next door looks. If she looked like the exotic looking actresses then the whole point is lost. Kumudsundari is an average looking village belle whose simplicity is her charm.
So please dont compare her with others who are fair skinned actresses or other wheatish complexioned actresses. Granted,they maybe far more prettier and beautiful. They are, I wont deny that because i am practical and a realist. In the beauty department,jenny wont win. I know that and i accept that.But when she is this talented,who cares?😊
