Ram Navami marks the birth of Shri Rama, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu in Ayodhya. Born in chaitra mass shuklpaksha navami, son of King Dashratha of Ayodhya came to the earth to put an end to the havoc and atrocities of Ravana on his subjects. The ideal son, brother, husband and king; Shri Rama is a symbol and embodiment of truth, morality, virtues and chivalry. Ramrajya, the reign of Lord Rama was synonymous with the period of peace and prosperity and even today his birth anniversary is celebrated in every region of the country with gusto and enthusiasm.
