Savitri khurana - Widow of Devendra khurana...most respectable person in the society...chairperson of sanjeevani hospital and asha foundation...she carves for the real happiness of her grandchildren maan and naina...esp maan as he keeps to himself...she wants him to settle with a person who can bring out his true nature...she is confident in naina as she would look after herself and will succeed in her life personally and professionally because she is emotionally much stronger person
Rahul and anjali khurana - parents of maan, vicky and naina...died in a car accident
Maan khurana - our main lead...he always keep to himself as he feels he is cursed could end the lives of people close to him...his past is kind of horrible...only dadi n his sister can bring smile to his face...
Vicky khurana - younger brother of maan...elder one to naina...died in the same accident with his parents...
Naina khurana - youngest in the khurana household...an apple in the eye...enjoys life to the most unlike his bro...she tried to bring him out the guilt but was unsuccessful as he never opened up but she never gives up...both stubborn in their own way...she takes utmost care of him and could go any length to make him smile...but she was waiting for him to live and laugh whole heartedly...

Masterji and his wife - founded sarvepalli radhakrishnan school in bhanpura on the only land property they owned...they didnt have their own children...they adopted arjun when he lost his parents at a very young age
Arjun singh - principal of sarvepalli radhakrishnan school...strict yet friendly principal...wants to modify educational system...wants to instill indian values to all the students which seems to diminish in this modern era
Simran singh - wife of arjun singh...housewife in a true sense...everything comes to a standstill in the house without her...she is humble, simple and caring...the best mother one could get...
Geet singh - eldest daughter of simran n arjun singh...she is the shadow of her mother...she is good at academics n sports but best in dancing
Harmeet singh - harmeet n meet are fraternal twins...he is bit of silent types...always in a quest ti improve himself and his surroundings...takes really good care of her sisters...
Meet singh/chutki/meethi - the big prankster in the family...enjoys life to the maximum n lives a carefree life...her parents scld her sometimes but masterji shields her...
