Bigger Sin

My answer is abortion. Getting pregnant before marriage is not a crime. There certainly would be many difficulties in life but nothing that you can't handle. I know of some cases that women actually committed suicide because of this reason.

Abortion is okay in some instances when you are unable to care for the child, or if you are not able to provide for the child then its fine.

Neither! Abortion is a personal choice! Those who really need to do it have every right to do it, those who want to bring the child into the world even if its out of wedlock, they have every right to do it!

This seems to be a question of the lesser of 2 evils. Both are wrong... but which is more so?

Do u know when a fetus passes 3 months - the 1st trimester of a pregnancy, they start to develop their features? Their hands, toes, eyes, ears, mouth. Do u know most women dont realise they are pregnant until late in their 1st trimester... sometimes after that?

So... do u know anytime AFTER ur 1st trimester, that abortion is equivalent to killing a child?!

There are many many many mothers out there that cannot conceive for whatever reason. Many spouses out there that may have lost their child for some reason or the other. Many ppl who would like to adopt and care for children.

If you did NOT want to get pregnant then dont have intercourse or use protection. But dont take it out on the child.

Being pregnant before marriage is wrong to some - but for me it cannot be compared to killing a child. There are some couples who choose to get pregnant out of wedlock - would I go tell them abort ur baby cause that's a lesser sin than being pregnant outside of marriage or judge them their choice? Heck no. There are couples who live together and hence "common law" marriage and have children, but technically thats still pregnant out of wedlock. There are some ppl who act as surrogate moms and face the stigma of "pregnancy outside of marriage" but aren't pregnant for themselves. There also those who are HAPPY when they are pregnant, even without the security of a marriage.

Pregnancy outside of the wedding vows are considered a sin and frowned upon, but definitely not compared to killing a child.

Abortion is a woman's choice as it depends upon the circumstances. If its a result of rape, then she would want to abort it. If a woman gets pregnant by accident, (sometimes protection doesnt work) then she can abort it if she doesnt want the child. Its better to abort than to bring an unwanted child into this already overpopulated world!

Only God knows which one is a bigger sin. In my opinion both are sins.

I agree with Ash that both the choices are wrong n i don't vote for such type of questions.

Again sex is a personal choice , but if you are not married and don't intend to have a baby .. Then getting pregnant before marriage is a sin
