these are two really different things...there is no comparison...everybody has a reason for abortion and bringing a child before marriage...if a woman is not ready for a baby then she shouldnt be punished or judged for abortion...and if someone is ready for a baby then she can have it before marriage...it is not fair to judge one to make the other better...there are many women that are raped and do not want a reminder of that so they get abortion...there is no need to make them feel even worse by comparing these two...having a baby or abortion are two very personal things and each to their own...if a woman is ready to raise a baby without being married, is ready to hear taunts and face hurdles and does not need a man to take care of her or her child then more power to her...and if a woman has the strength to get an abortion for whatever reason and live with their decision then more power to her also...

i disagree with the idea that an abortion is okay in cases in which protection fails. everytime you have sex, you agree to the risks which are pregnancy. even if u have protected sex, the risk of a condom breaking is there and therefore when u have sex, u take on that risk. if u can't deal with the consequences of your action, then u shouldn't be taking such action. i hate the argument that abortion is about a womans right to her body. since when does the right to someone body supercede the right to live? if the right to a womand body holds up then the death penalty should be banned because a person has a right to their own body. they should not be forced to take drugs that will eventually kill them. the argument that death penalty is for the guilty does not apply since it is based purely on the right to control one's own body. furthermore, woman act as if they are mother Mary. as if they created this child on their own. the conception of a child requires a man and a woman. if a man does not want said child but the mother does, he has no choice in the matter bc he is responsible for the creation child and is required to pay child support for 18 years. yet, if a woman doesn't want the child but the man does, he has no say bc all of a sudden it is her personal choice. anyone see a contradiction. woman can't have it both ways. either the father is or isnt part of the creation of the child. they can't choose a law based on whether it benefits them. when a pregnant woman is killed no matter how early in the pregnancy stage, it is considered a double murder. when she has a miscarriage it is considered a tragedy. but when an abortion takes place, it is considered a right to her own body. the thing that a woman is carrying in her body is a human being. if said woman does not consider it a human, then she cannot cry if she has a miscarriage. its one or the either, it cant be both. i believe in the right to live triumps any right to a womans body. this is y i only support abortion in cases where the mothers life is in danger bc if the mother wont live, what chances are the baby will? if overpopulation is an excuse, then we should just have a single child policy. abortion is the killing of a child and no amount of individual right can supercede the right to live

Both are wrong IMHO
Abortion is ok only in some cases where rape etc is involved..
Abortion may be a choice but it is not supposed to be used as a form of birth control
In either case brain as well as some sort of birth control should be used.
If one thinks they are old enough to have sex than they are old enough to have that baby and take care of it too..

only time we may agree. however, i dont agree with the rape concept though. for me if people are against abortion because of the claim that there is a living child inside the body, then does the child stop being a child because the violence used in its conception. i dont think people would say yes to that. i know that the most difficult thing to do after being raped is carry the rapist child.it is an awful thing to do but worse for me is to kill a human being. i can't imagine telling a rape victim no to an abortion but at the same time how can i say a fetus is a human being but not if it was rape. anti-abortionist tend to think that a fetus and a child out of womb is on the same status. i cant say rape as the exemption if i want to keep my beliefs consistent. i too used to be exemption rape untill a girl in my class stated that what fault is it of the child that he/she was concieved in rape. i bring this point forward bc i dont think many people think about the actual child of rape bc their focus is on the rape victim and they dont want to further trauamatize them. its too much of a horror to ask them to carry their rapist child. and yet throughout the century its been done. in fact during the banagladesh liberation war woman were systematically raped and bore their rapists child to full term.
i think this is a very good topic to open up because we have opened up a dialogue for a very serious issue in the real world. rarely in this forum has such a serious issue been discussed and this is a great teaching moment

Niki again my humble opinion...I am in support of Pro choice with the caveat
Pro choice is only OK in the cases as Rape where the woman does not think she can carry and have the baby...But if she is OK in carrying that child and than later give it up for adoption would be good..
But first thing first is the woman has to be OK to carry that child forward mentally, emotionally, physically & financially ..
Other cases I will say "Abstinence, abstinence abstinence is the best form of BC...😃

I honestly cant see the point of giving birth to someone when you cannot take care of them...when I was living in pakistan I used to see couples in slums have tons of kids and they didnt have food or clothes...other times there are children that are being neglected because their parents werent ready for them...why bring up a child when you are just going to let them be miserable?

I understand that if one doesnt want a child then they should take precautions but no form of birth control is 100% effective...and expecting people to practice abstinence for life is not realistic...all pro-life activites should invest their energy on those children that are already in this world and dont have food, clothes, shelter or love...there is no need to force others to have kids who will be just as neglected because they didnt want it in first place...

Niether.
Abortion may seem like a crime to some but for people that are rape victims it is a good resort.
And getting pregnant before marriage is a personal choice.
