Pallavi gaped at Dev 😲😲... cudn't believe what she heard…all along he had been angry for this…angry for not telling him how much she had hurt….she looked again at the pics one more time and saw that her knee and forehead were bleeding on the picture…. …

Dev –tum phir chup hogayi 😕😕 ….I am asking u something aur tum …You cant even imagine how worried I was…. Why did you lie to me… 😡 (She gaped back at Dev with her mouth open) Now , stop staring at me…as if I have gone nuts…😡

Pallavi (throwing the pics on the coffee table)—Not only nuts Mr. Dev Khanna (pushed him back with every word) You are being an Idiot…a Moron….argghh!!! It's the day of Rj's project completion party … it had been Rj's first independent project…which had successfully completed… though Kabir & Dev had constantly pulled his leg that it cant be considered independent as Pallavi had been involved in every stage….😆😆😆 Rj cudn't help but agree she had been surely a support throughout & Pallavi just smiled remembering the reason Rj gave why he involved her… 😆

Inspite of her not being completely well…..Pallavi helped him in organizing the whole party. They all decided to hold the party at khanna house only …as it wud be easier to manage…& every member can help in organizing the party…

Its been last few minutes of preparation…Pallavi just made sure everything is under control…when Prachi noticed Pallavi still isn't ready for the party….she literally had to pull off Pallavi from the conversation she was having with the event manager & caterer….

Prachi—its enough Pallavi ….just leave it…. they will manage…tum jakar taiyaar hojayo…party is abt to start in an hour…aur tum abhi tak (seeing she is abt to interrupt) yaha ka main dekh lungi… (handing her the dress) JUST GO Pallavi !!! here u go with the dress…

Pallavi was fed up with the saree …she never knew a saree cud be so complicated & heavy to wear …no doubts she liked the b'ful lilac color saree…but she had always been comfortable in simple light sarees…not these designer ones…😕 which needed to draped carefully… sighing she messaged Prachi to come up & help her…meanwhile she decided to work with her hair & jewellery…when she heard the door opening….

Pallavi (without looking back who had entered she continued tieing her hair) –Thank god!! You are here…😊 have been waiting for long…. never knew saree can be so complicated… (she went on rambling) I am confused Saree complicated hai…or blouse complicated hai…or its me …(she paused when she felt being hugged from behind)

Dev—I am confused too!!!😛😛 …saree zyada khoobsurat hai…ya tum… (Pallavi surprised turned back)

Pallavi (shocked)—aap?? Aap yaha kya kar rahe hai ?? 😕

Pallavi (confused)—aapka room?? (looked around…realized in hurry she didn't noticed which room she entered)oh!! I am sorry….woh jaldi mein…I didn't noticed I…

Dev(silenced her)—I didn't say I minded …its completely Ok!!! No wonder was missing you since morning…(teased making her blush) didn't knew will be surprised like this !!😆😆

Pallavi (to divert his attention)—since morning!! 😲 You are too much Mr.khanna…main subah se office mein hi thi….came back home at 3 only now its just 5pm…

Dev(seriously)—haan office mein thi…but you were not with me!!!😛

Dev—You sure want to go down like that…. (Pallavi looked down her saree needed to be draped properly…just blushed & hugged him back) now you stop distracting me…so that I can help seriously 😛😛 …& if u are thinking I will leave just with a hug…you are wrong !!!(teased)

Pallavi (smacked him)—Stop it!!!

Dev—help chaiye ya nahi or we can always stay here I am in no hurry to leave!!! 😆😆 (Pallavi just nodded & Dev seriously helped her with the saree) Now, do I get reward for helping (moved forward for a kiss)

Pallavi (blushingly pushed him back)—you will ruin the saree the make-up….

Dev--& trust me you will look much better without both….

Pallavi (dragged him out of room)—already we are late Mr.khanna… & as for your reward you will get after party… 😆😆

Hoards of journalists had gathered as the Khanna companies gonna announce the completion of their first international project ….also the first for the youngest in family... Ranvijay Khanna….they had been eagerly awaiting the details that had been kept quiet for so long….

After brief welcome from Dev , he invited Rj for the presentation as it has been his hard work all through… Dev cudn't help but feel proud watching Rj gave the presentation flawlessly… The pride was clear in his eyes….even the tears too…he still remembers Rj as a small boy only who had been never been serious…who always needed his guidance….but now he has solely & efficiently completed the project on his own…he was too overwhelmed….

He felt someone pressing his palm…& whispering "You don't look good crying " …. he just smiled….

Rj finished his speech thanking his whole family & specially Dev for being his guide throughout & his friend Pallavi for being all the support she had been…..

Presentation ended with a thunderous applause… they invited the press to attend the Gala being held …The music was already playing and people seemed to be enjoying themselves….People came up to congratulate Rj…even congratulated Dev too… walked around the room greeting people, discussing the ongoing projects….

When Rj was shocked to see a bouquet in front of him…& person congratulating him…

Maya (smiled)—congratulations!!!

Rj was too shock to react …she was the last person he expected to be here & that too congratulating him…Maya had never been to khanna house on any occasion….so now why… Rj just left in anger from there…

Dev who had his back towards them had just turned to ask something from Rj…he too was surprised to see Maya here…

Maya—I shud congratulate you too also…seeing you & GF are still together…mujhe toh laga tha ab tak toh…

Dev (kept his voice low as he cud see press & media still around clicking them)—enough Maya!!! 😡😡 Just stop it… You have really crossed your limits this time!!!!

Around the corner … Rj was pacing in anger… almost bumping into Pallavi who had come to call him…

Pallavi (cheerful)—Careful superstar…. After that wonderful presentation you surely are one star …kafi fans hogaye hai tumhare…(sensing something wrong) kya hua ??

Rj (angry)—what the hell she is doing here… 😡😡

Pallavi (confused)—she ?? kaun…??

Rj (made her turn around pointing to Dev)—Maya!!!

She looked where Rj was pointin & could clearly see that Dev was seething with anger….the expressions he was giving to Maya… he could strangle Maya right there and then.… Pallavi walked through the crowd silently praying Dev should not do anything drastic whole press is here…she walked upto Dev & held his hand…

Pallavi (in calm voice)—aap yaha hai Mr.khanna…kabir bhaiyaa dhund rahe hai aapko …chaliye…

Dev (took his hand back) –not before throwing her out of the party😡😡 (he was ready to drag Maya out)

None of the guest knew what was transpiring between the three people. They were too busy to notice the tension between the hosts of the party….

Pallavi (tried to stop him)—Mr.khanna just stop it…aap kya kar rahe hai…

Maya (taunted)—why this act of being nice Pallavi…😡😡 tum toh chahti hi yahi ho…that he throws me out of his life also…So, just keep the act to yourself…

Dev—Maya you just….😡😡

Maya (taunted)—Relax darling!!! Aawaaz neeche…sablog hai yaha….. I am sure you don't want your secret to come out in open ….bhari mehfil mein bezaati ho jayegi Dev…😡😡 ahhh meri nahi … tumhari & your little GF … it will be talk of the town…& me being the cheated wife I will have all the sympathy…

Dev (angry)—see if I care Maya!! 😡😡

Pallavi (ignored her comment she just needed to get Dev away without creating a scene)—Mr.khanna aap chaliye mere saath… (she almost grabbed his hand & pulled him towards the main door away from Maya…the mood he is in he will not even stop to think the consequences)

She was about to take Dev out in the garden …just to cool him off…when she heard the crowd in the house gasp….Pallavi turned around and saw Maya unconscious on the floor and some of the guests surrounding her…. She pulled her hand which was holding Dev…she was trying to understand what was happening before she cud understand she heard one of the guests calling for Dev… all eyes were on door where Dev-Pallavi were standing… Dev didn't have a choice but to go to Maya…picked her up, taking her to the nearest guest room... one of guest woman followed Dev…who happened to be Mayas friend…

Pallavi just did not knew what was the right thing to do…. She was not sure if she was strong enough to stand here seeing Maya in Dev's arms…The whole environment making her feel uncomfortable…by now whole family joined her… they had seen what had transpired ….they were equally surprised to see Maya here…

Pallavi –no idea Bhaiyaa…who achanak saamne aagayi &…Mr.khanna were just asking her to leave & she fainted…. I mean… (after a pause) I guess I shud leave…main …its late…I shud get going…

Rj—are you crazy pallavi…tum kaha jaogi…just stay here…

Pallavi reluctant…somewhere she felt uncomfortable…she felt like an intruder amongst the family…with Maya here this felt like a complete family…where she as an outsider… after the longest 10 minutes…the women who had followed Dev-Maya…came out & announced " Mrs.khanna is pregnant"

A thunder-like applaud filled the room…..The sound naturally faded as Dev came out he had a lost look on his face….all the guest seemed to encircle Dev to congratulate him with the good news….

The family standing at other end were staring at him with a confused look…waiting for explainations…but Dev searched for that one face…. But he cudn't find her anywhere… he realized Pallavi wasn't there anymore he tried to break through the crowd and go after her but the guest stopped them one by one to congratulate him...he was getting more and more irritated. It took him forever to reach the other side of the room after all the guest decided to continue to celebrate when they had got one more reason to gulp down more of the servings….

Kabir (angrily)—Dev yeh sab kya hai…tum…

Dev just put up his hand with an apologetic look indicating to stop this conversation and ran out of the door… he knew his family will understand but first he needs to find Pallavi…

Kabir tried to call him back a few times along with Mausi & Prachi but he did not listen…. Outside Dev got surrounded with a mob of press waiting to whom the latest development in his married family…how he feels being a father….he just pushed himself out of the crowd….

Khushi who had been silent observant all these months cant help but comment…

Khushi (angry)—Mr.khanna ne yeh acha nahi kiya…he is two timing both of them!!

Massi—khushi …

Kabir—khushi theek keh rahi hai Ma… only if I knew he could be this despicable!! ….mujhe yakeen nahi ho raha I trusted Dev!!!...Maine usse shuru mein kaha tha...to stay away from her 😡😡 I'll never forgive him for this!! Ab peeche bhagne ka kya faida yeh Maya ke maa banne se pehle sochna tha… He cheated on Maya and on all of us!!

Massi looked down today even she cant even say anything to support Dev… Prachi just held Kabir's hand in an effort to calm Kabir….

Prachi—I think we shud not jump to conclusions ek baar Dev se baat karle then only….

Khushi—baat karne ke liye kuch nahi bacha bhabhi, sab kuch humare saamne hai…I was right all along…but meri baat aap mein se kisi ne nahi mani…. You all went to support Mr. Dev khanna….yaha tak Rj bhi…. ab sabko apni galti realize hogi… (she left for her room)

Dev did not find the one who was looking for at the parking lot…. He could not see Rj's car too so he thought he must have taken her home….Making his way through the journalists and cameramen he reached his cars… avoiding and determent to not make any statement in front of the press. He tried calling Pallavi's cell but it was not answered…

He reached her apartment…waiting for door to be opened but found Rj blocking his way...Dev doesn't remember when was last time Rj had been angry on him….Rj's gaze pierced Dev…. He blocked the entrance

Rj (angry)—aap yaha kya kar rahe hai?? 😡😡

Dev—Rj let me in & talk to Pallavi…(seeing him still glaring) Please Rj….

Rj didn't moved an inch determent…it was until they heard Pallavi's voice who had come out hearing the bell… She saw the situation at the door seeing both brothers glaring at each other …
