Pallavi woke up with a start…she had a weird dream of stranded all alone in some unknown place…where she had no clue abt the place & tried her best to reach back home but she cudn't find her back home…
She looked around & sighed in relief she was still at the farmhouse….with Dev sleeping peacefully beside her…her relief was shortlived as her gaze fell on the clock on the bedside showing time 8am… instantly she was out of bed… she had to be in the office in an hour Rj had reminded her twice previous day to be with him for final presentation of his project... they need to plan out the completion party, they gona throw next week… everything needs to be finalized….Rj had also joked… if they do not plan out on time…Dev will fire both of them… already they are little late from deadline…. But now reaching office at 9am is something impossible as the drive to office itself would take at least an hour…. So its best she hurries up as much as possible….before leaving she just shook Dev vigorously asking him to wake up… he just rolled over & fell asleep again…
15mins later when Pallavi came back again to her horror Dev was still sleeping soundly…she shook him once again & went back to rummage through wardrobe… already she was irritated because of this unscheduled visit to farmhouse…now she is clueless what to wear to office… as every time either she carried a change along or on way Dev used to drop at her apartment…but being late today …that is not possible…
Pallavi was already loosing patience…as she glanced Dev still sleeping…she picked up thehair brush from the dressing table and threw it at him….
Dev sat up straight startled and looked around to see what hit him until he saw the brush….😆😆😆
Dev(massaging his head where brush hit him)—Awww!!! Pallavi uthane ka yeh kaunsa tarika hai… lag jati toh (he was still sleepy)…
Pallavi(pissed off)—toh aur kya karti…pichle adhe ghante se trying to wake u up…aur aap hai ki…already I am getting late(she went on blabbering)…its 8:30 already… We have to get back… On top of that I don't have any suits here!!...what shud I wear…
Dev(sleepily scratching his head)—ermm…saree!! (pointing behind her) the green one…
Pallavi (surprised)—Saree?? Office mein ?...
Dev(laid back again)—haan toh mere office mein koi rule thodi na hai…ki office mein saree nahi pehan sakte…😛😆
Pallavi getting the point just took the saree & went to bathroom to get ready…coming out she wanted to kill Dev… seeing him sleeping again…
Pallavi(shaking him again)—You are a limit Mr.khanna…baar baar jagana padta…jakar ready hojaiye meanwhile I get breakfast ready… wonder roz kaun uthata hai… when we are not here… (went around getting ready mumbling)
Dev (grumpily) –who says I sleep rest of days…😕
Pallavi—aww now don't make me feel guilty of waking u UP… (though inside she was as she knew…its only here he slept peacefully..she wont admit it to him rite now )…please get up…(pleading) Rj will eat my head…already running late…Please Get up!!!
Dev—come on Pallavi!! Dat appointment is at 11…itni jaldi karne ki kya zarut hai… & after that I have appointments back to back….so let poor me rest …(Laid back again) ...thodi der mein aram se chalte hai… aur jab main hi nahi jaunga tum office jaldi pahuchkar kya karogi...
Pallavi (turned with hands on hips)—aap phir shuru hogaye… !!!😲 aapko yeh kyun lagta hai…aap office mein nahi hote toh mujhe kaam nahi hota…😕 already aapki wajah se mujhe double kaam karna padega…I had cancelled all your appointments for today… aur ab sab kaam akele karna padega…( she went on) Rj ki party ka bhi plan karna hai…have to help him final presentation jo aapko karna tha…also have to go through all the files you had to discuss today…(she came near him & smacked him) maine socha …. I'll give you some rest aur aap hai ki mujhe additude dikha raha hai…. (she turned to leave) aap sote rahiye I am calling a taxi…
Before she cud move ahead Dev caught her hand making her sit back on bed… placing his head in her lap…
Dev(smiling)—aaww dats so sweet!! (pulling her cheeks) u cancelled my meetings….Thank u… I am going to sleep all day for sure…😃😃😃
Pallavi (tried to push his head off of her lap but he would budge)—I know I am sweet…Now, Let me Go!!! you rest & relax today…I see u tomorrow… Let me Go!!!
Dev—tomorrow 😲…are u crazy…😕
Pallavi—No…but I need to finish the work…bahut kaam hai…
Dev(closing his eyes)—haan toh kaam maine diya tha…you can always complete it later… aur waise bhi I can prove you don't work when I am not in office…
Pallavi(pushed him again)—Oh Really!! aap prove kar sakte hain?? Kaise??
Dev (smiled)—its simple!! infact too simple (sat up facing her) you said u Love me…Right!! (Pallavi nodded in yes) toh us hisaab se your favourite work wud be loving me…. (mischeviously) aur main saamne nahi hunga…So, how wud u love me!!😈 (Pallavi gaped at him)
Pallavi—Very Smart!! (crossing her arms) par aapko pyaar karne ke liye aapka mere saamne hona zaruri nahi hai…😛 I mean agar aap office mein nahi hai…toh I can always call u…& talk romantic things with u…aur waise bhi pyaar dil se hota hai…aur kaam dimaag se…& don't worry I know how to coordinate… 😛😆
Dev(smiled)—who toh hai…par tum yeh toh manogi… (pulling her closer) when I am not in office you miss me!! 😛😛 (she nodded in yes) aur main pure din mein office mein nahi hunga toh aur zyada miss karogi…pura din you will be thinking abt me!!!😈
Pallavi—haan toh!!
Dev(flashed a devilish grin)—toh!! Pura din mujhe miss karti rahogi…mere baare mein sochti rahogi…😈 toh kaam kaise karogi 😉(winked)
Pallavi tried her best to keep a serious face hearing his explanation, had to try hard to stop herself from blushing …she cant deny anything he said…it had been the truth…many a times she just find it useless sitting in office with him away for a lunch appointment or a meeting…
Pallavi(containing her smile)—I know …its gonna be difficult…will surely miss u…but office toh jana padega… need to finish the work…(smiled) you don't know my khadoos boss…😛😛 he is a workaholic… 😆😆 kaam time pe poora nahi hota toh pura office sir pe utha lete hai…gussa kafi khatarnak hai boss ka…. 😛😆
Dev(pulled her more closer)—uska bhi solution hai…next time aapke boss gussa ho…kiss the boss…gussa do min mein gayab hojayega…😉😛
Pallavi (pretended to be shocked)—Really!! Ab tak apni kitni PA.s ko yeh trick batayi hai aapne….no wonder no PA stayed with u for long….😛

Pallavi cudn't control her laughter anymore…she cracked up…. 🤣
Pallavi(rolling with laughter)—didn't I said aapko conscious karna kitna asaan hai…🤣 (laughed more) just look at your face….
Pallavi fell back on the bed laughing holding her stomach …which was wrong thing to do that time as Dev found perfect opportunity & pinned her down on the bed…His devilish grin was back… 😈

Maya grumbled as she tried Dev's cell for the nth time…result was same …he was not answering her calls past last week… She tried a lot in this whole week… . Calling Dev… Sending notes, flowers, apology cards, messages on his cell….she tried everything….Initially Dev answered her call until he realized what Maya has to say same thing… she made it clear to him that she wont change her mind & he will have to come back to her at Mathur house…. After that Dev stopped receiving her calls…the flowers and cards also came back…
Dev made it very clear that inspite of everything happened he has already forgiven her & in future also if anytime she will need help…he will be ever ready to help her out….but she shud not expect anything more than that…
Every time she would come to visit him in his office he would not be there, or he would be in a meeting…she was sent back from reception itself…
Maya slammed the phone down irritatedly….
Maya (to herself)--What the hell does he think of himself!!! He will ignore me like this…Pehle to aisa kabhi nahin karta tha…no matter kitna bhi busy ho…mere liye humesha time tha uske paas…shadi se pehle bhi... he would not go to any gathering without me….If it wasn't for that cheap and disgusting chit of a girl he would come back running to me…sab us ladki ki wajah se…(stood up determinedly) That's it!!! That girl is standing in our way…who ladki nahi hogi…toh sab theek ho jayega… (smiled to herself) I just need to take care of that girl…& I will try every option… Reasoning, bribing…punishing dividing…anything & everything to make that girl move out of my way… (Maya decided) Bas mujhe yeh sab dhyan se karna padega…Dev ko pata nahi chalna chaiye….I will have to be discrete careful…

Pallavi was coming out of her apartment…she was in a hurry as she had to reach airport wasn't looking where she was going bumped into a woman…Pallavi looked up to apologise…she was shocked to see Maya there…
Maya(sweetly)—HI!!! How are You!!
Pallavi (composed herself from shock hearing her talking sweetly)—Hi!! I am sorry…maine dhyan nahi diya…Sorry to bump into you…
Maya—sirf isi ke liye you are Sorry!!!not for other things….
Pallavi (confused)—ji!!
Maya—anyways you didn't answered how are u? waise how stupid of me ….mujhe yeh poochna nahi chaiye…tum toh achi hogi hi….afterall, tumhe tumhari aukaad se zyada jo mil raha hai…
Pallavi (didn't getting where this conversation was heading)—aap kya keh rahi??
Maya—oh please!! Itna innocent banne ki zarut nahi hai…infact I never thot…chotte sehar ki ladki…jo chehre se itni masoom lagti hai…is capable of doing so much… tumhari ek chaal aur tumhe sab kuch mil raha hai jo tumne kabhi socha bhi nahi hoga…
Pallavi (confidently)—exactly!! Maine kabhi socha bhi nahi tha…
Maya was surprised by Pallavi's casual attitude…she expected her to be intimated by her presence
Maya—aur you are least guilty about it…sab kuch tumhare liye sapne ki tarah hoga na…par tumhe nahi lagta sapne apni aukaad ke hisaab se dekhne chaiye… sapne utne hi dekhne chaiye jitni apni hasiyat ho…sapne toote hue waqt nahi lagta Pallavi…😡😡😡
It took all of Pallavi's self control to not to break in front of Maya…Maya just mentioned her worst fear…every moment, everyday Pallavi used to question herself she was not worthy of Dev's love…every moment she spent with Dev she feared blinking her eyes what if everything was dream, & her whole life will burst like a bubble ….but the very next moment Dev would make her smile and shower more love and happiness on her and would dream with her about their lives together…
Maya—jawab nahi hai na tumhare paas…. Hoga bhi kaise galti jo khud ki jo aise sapne dekhne shuru kar diye jo kabhi pure nahi honge…
Pallavi(composed herself)—yeh toh aapko unse poochna chaiye…jinhone sapne dekhna sikhaya….aur rahi baat meri aukaad ki, toh sapne unhi ke poore hote hai…jo sapne dekhte hai…
Maya (temper was rising)—forget it!! You just say your price….Dev ki zindagi se jane ka kya logi?? 😡😡 ( Pallavi kept looking at her face is she hearing right….she was snapped out when Maya repeated her question) how much??
Pallavi (smiled, surprising Maya)—I am sorry!! My dreams don't have a price tag…yeh sapne anmol hai kyunki yeh sapne sirf mere nahi, kisi aur ke bhi hai…sapne jo hum dono ne saath milkar dekhe hai…aur saath milkar pura karenge…
Maya(glared)—your dreams will never turn reality Pallavi, Dev still loves me…he is still mine…he is my husband…par tum, tum kuch nahi lagti hai Dev ki… just a cheap woman throwing herself on him… he is a Man afterall … You tricked him in this relation…
Pallavi (looked straight in her eyes)—Main unki kya lagti hoon, yeh aap apne "Pati" se pooch sakti hai… aur aapko agar yahi lagta hai ki maine unhe is rishte ke liye majboor kiya …toh jaiye…rokiye apne pati ko, samjhaiye apne pati ko …ki mujhse door hojaye…(smiled) I am sure apni patni ki baat ko who inkaar nahi karenge…Right…
Maya(temper went off)—Pallavi!!! You are crossing your limits…😡😡 ek baat humesha yaad rakhna …jab tak main hoon Dev tumhara kabhi nahi hoga… I will make sure he will be mine…main tumhe usse cheen ne nahi dungi…😡😡
Pallavi somewhere felt sorry for Maya…as she is loosing most precious thing of her life…but she is not understanding the reason why she lost it…she still not getting the point that she lost him long back…Its not her who snatched Dev from her…
Pallavi (calmly explained)—Maya ji , Dev koi "cheez" nahi hai…jinhe main aapse cheen lungi, ya main aapko de du…ya aap kuch bhi karke mujhse cheen lengi…who ek jite jagte insaan hai, ek aise insaan jiske apne sapne hai, apni khushiyan hai, ek aisa insaan jise har dard, har khushi mehsoos hoti hai, unke paas bhi dil hai… who insaan jo humesha dusro ke liye jiya, apne liye kabhi kuch nahi manga… har rishte ko nibhaya…bina kisi umeed ke… Trust me Maya ji, mujhe is baat ka dukh hai, ki aapko unki ehmiyat unhe khokar pata chali… I have said this to him also, agar who kabhi khud humare rishte se bahar nikalna chahenge…main unhe nahi rokungi….par main janti hoon who aisa kabhi nahi karenge… Aap nahi janti aapne kya khoya hai…par mujhe pata hai maine kya paaya hai…

Dev was waiting for Pallavi impatiently while pacing around in the business class lounge…Dev was leaving to attend his college friend's wedding in Pune…since it was not a official tour he cant take Pallavi along as her presence will raise questions….
It was only twenty minutes left before the first announcement…. Checked his watch again and again looking around….whats keeping her so long… ghar se chale itna time hogaya... he looked around…there was just another family a young couple with their toddler son... father was playing with the child….Dev was lost watching them when he felt a hand on his shoulder… he turned around…
Dev (instantly)—finally u are here… itni der kaha laga di… (he went on) main kabse wait kar raha tha…aur tum pata nahi kaha…
Pallavi (interrupted)—will u just stop rambling….aur aapko mujhe dantna hai toh main chali jati hoon… zara si late hi toh hogayi…aap sunaye ja rahe mujhe…I just got caught up…aise gussa kar rahe hai jause pata nahi kitni badi galti kar di …just 10 mins late, main toh… (she stopped when she saw Dev just staring at her…to be precise observing her minutely) kya hua??
Dev—yeh toh mujhe poochna chaiye!! Kya hua…
Pallavi—what?? Kya hua?? kuch bhi toh nahi…What makes u think…
Dev—Your eyes…. (Pallavi just stared at him) they are telling kuch toh hua hai…something is wrong…(pallavi tried to refuse) tumhe bhi pata…you cant lie to me, so jooth bolne ka faida nahi hai…(sternly) tell me kya hua??
Pallavi sighed she knew he will make her say no matter what…
Pallavi (casually)—nothing much….just…just bumped into Maya…
Dev(shocked)—what?? What did she say…
Pallavi (smiled)—kuch nahi kaha, nothing more a wife wud say… Nothing happened that I can't handle…aur phir...
Dev grabbed her hand & pulled her to a corner…so that they are hidden from the view of the couple sitting there…
Dev(in a serious voice)—r u sure!!! Coz I am sure I wont spare her if she did anything to u… 😡😡
Pallavi—u stop worrying abt me!!... mujhe kuch nahi hua hai, aur na hi hoga…(gave a bright smile…pulled him in a hug) just gonna miss you… three days you are gonna be alone… (Her grip on his shoulders tightened…Dev knew she was trying her best not to cry) you just take care of yourself…
Dev(sighed)—wish I cud take u along…since its an actor's wedding...whole media wud be covering it...(sighed)
Suddenly she felt herself being twirled around and pressed against the pillar…looked in to her eyes. He saw tears form in her eyes…. It wud be first time they wud be apart for long even if just meant to be just 3 days... Pallavi grabbed his jacket and pulled him closer for a kiss… relishing every second…keeping a memory that will be with them for next 3 days… soon they heard first boarding announcement … she tried to give him a smile telling him she wud be fine…only both knew they not gonna be fine…
Dev hugged her once again whispering he gonna miss her… resting his head on her shoulder….she cud make out he was distracted by something… Looking at the direction where Dev was looking at she saw that he was looking at the laughing little boy, playing in his father's lap…Dev has a strange glint in his eyes….. which she saw everytime Dev used to play with Ria…or Dev used to happen see any other kid…
Dev's thot broke when he heard Pallavi's voice…
Pallavi—I am sorry!!!...
Dev(surprised)—for what ?? (he cud see tears in her eyes) Sorry kisliye??
Pallavi—for not fulfilling your dream…(she knew as Dev had shared with her, his biggest dream to have a family of his own, his own children) …you had given me so much, given me everything (tears rolled down) & I stopped u … And I refuse to give you what you want the most….. Your family….. Your child…
Dev (felt a pang of guilt)—My god!! Pallavi you scared me…itni si baat ke liye (wiping her tears) itne mote mote aansu…infact, I shud say sorry… for making u feel like this… (touching her forehead with his) I want you by my side the most…(caressed her cheek gently with his thumb) don't want anything or anyone more than you…& as for kids …it has been our decision…its just 4 months more … (sighed) its just that jab bhi kisi bache ko dekhta hoon I cant stop myself from thinking, questioning myself…will I be good father!!!... ab tak har rishte mein fail hua hoon….dad ke baad family ko sambhalne ki koshish ki, I took care of them financially but forgot they needed my emotional support…failed a big time in marriage…. na ek acha pati ban paya, na ek acha dost, apne dukh –pareshani apno se chupate chupate apne parivaar se hi door hogaya… failed everywhere in every relation…failed even with u… I cant give you what you deserve. Kahin humare bacche ke saath bhi…
Pallavi(silenced him by keeping finger on his lips)—You will be an amazing father…& u never failed me…(kissed his cheek) sahi galat ka faisla hum khud karte hai…humara nazariya karta hai… aur galti insano se hi hoti hai…agar aapse bhi koi galti hui…dat doesn't mean u failed…(smiled) now can I get your charming smile…😛😳 (to lighten) & yes don't forget to tell ur friend he is my fav actor 😛😆😆 I love him... 😛😛
Dev just shook his head & smiled… Only Pallavi cud do it, make him smile at any point … 😃😊
Dev (teased)--& I thot u only loved me!! (The second and final announcement to board the plane echoed through the lounge….kissed her forehead one last time before he walked) I will call you when I get there" 😊😊

Dev's friend from college Sameer was getting married...he had specifically invited him… threatening he will kill him if he doesn't make it to the wedding…Sameer had been an film actor, & Dev's college friends...as Sameer got busy with his career both didn't got much opportunity to meet...
Inspite of being a good actor... Sameer was there at airport to receive him…even Dev was happy to see his friend after so long infact, after college they were meeting only now…
Sameer (as he hugged Dev)—Good to see u Dev!!!... mujhe pata hota college ke baad meri shadi pe hi mulaqat hogi toh….pehle hi shadi kar leta… Actor main hoon...par busy tu rehta hai... log mujhse dates mangte hai...but tujhse milna ka mujhe mauka nahi milta 😆😆 (Dev just smiled) & u know what!!! meri shadi , shadi kum college alumni meet zyada lag rahi hai…all buddies are here…
Dev(smiled)—dats great!!! Ab mujhe yaha airport par khade rakhna hai ya u plan to send me back by next flight….
Sameer (laughed)—sorry…come on…tere liye toh special surprise hai…chal!!!

As they reached the wedding venue… Dev greeted Sameer's parents… & was meeting his other friends…when someone tapped on his shoulder….Dev turned & his face lost colour…the smile that was on his face seconds back vanished…He kept looking at the person standing in front of him… Dev did not notice that he was staring at Maya for long… He was surprised to see her here…
Sameer had to nudged him to bring him out of his thots….
Sameer —whats up buddy!!! Kaha kho gaye …. Shadi ke itne saal baad bhi …bhabhiji ko dekhkar abhi bhi kho jate ho?? 😆😆😆😆
