Ok frnds... After Ena's dil todu os, I'm bringing on my os... Tried to be a lil senti types...Hope u all forgive me for my mistakes...đ
Ashutosh was pacing up & down the hall of his home... He had make Baba n HK retire to their beds, but his eyes were constantly ranging from his wall clock to his wrist watch, checking if they are showing him the correct time ; to his cell phone, if only he gets a call connected to his wife,Nidhi ; And towards the main door, only if it gets clicked open, or the damn door bell rings, and his Nidhi appears on the gate...
"Where are u Nidhi??? Why aren't u picking up my call? Why don't u tell me ur whereabouts???"
Ashutosh's mind went upon the memory, when he saw her last in the evening... She was thoroughly upset over Dr. Dubey's words..
~~ FLASHBACK~~
"Dr. Nidhi... what a shame... I've never seen more a reckless person than you... I really pity your family... specially ur husband... Poor man... he must be dragging his life in hell.." Dr. Dubey was spitting venom on Nidhi, unknown of the fact, that "The Poor Man' he seems to think is, "The luckiest Man on Earth"- Dr. Ashutosh... Nidhi had so much tried to clarify her point... She was innocent, she hadn't committed any mistake... But DD didn't let her utter a word, not even him, his fav, Dr. Ashutosh...
Nidhi had come out his cabin, with loads of unshed tears & a suppressed hurt, over her So-called incapacity to run her family... Ashutosh, even after lots of tries, to talk to her, was in vain, the hurt didn't vanish, & looked very-very distressed... Circumscribed to Baba's health, Ashutosh was bound to leave for their home.. Nidhi had declined to go, stating lots of work ahead... But, before he left, what he saw was Mallika trying to commence a conversation with Nidhi...

"Did... Did Mallika say something to my Nidhi??? I... I need to call Mallika.." he grabbed his phone, n called her...
M: Hi Ashustosh!!! Kaise phone kiya?
A: Mallika, where are u?
M: Hospital mein... Kyu? Kya hua?
A: Nidhi... Nidhi hai hospital mein?
M: Kyu? Kya hua? (She pretended to be concerned)
A: mallika, its 12.30 am... Its chill winters in Lucknow, n its heavy downpour out here... i just wanted to know, if she was in the hospital?
M: Aah! Ashutosh! KGH is not a small place.. She must be somewhere here... I guess she had an emergency at night... Don't worry... She would be ok!
After ending the call, Mallika smiled ear-to-ear to herself... " Tch-tch-tch!!! Poor Nidhi!!! Ab tumhe kya bataaoon shutosh! Nidhi toh kab ki Hospital se nikal chuki hai.." Mallika gave a loud evil laugh...
Even after disconnecting the call, Ashutosh felt restless... He didn't know why, but his 6th sense told him, something is wrong with his Nidhi... Neither he felt convinecd with Mallika's words... So he decided to check on his wife himself... He grabbed his car keys n went away...
As soon as he reached the hospital entrance, he enquired at the reception from Miss. Divya...
D: Sir, Dr. Nidhi toh evening mein hi chali gayi thi... I mean maine unhe yahan se jaate hue hi dekha tha...
A: Par Miss Divya, mujhe toh yahi information mili thi ki Nidhi had an emergency to deal, & hence, she's here...
D: Sir, phir aap common room mein unke colleagues se hi pooch lijiye... All I knew, she has left...
Ashutosh ran towards the common room, in between checking in the ER too... Nidhi wasn't anywhere... When Ashutosh reached the CR, he asked Dr. Aahna, Aditi, Jyotika abt Nidhi... But, all of them told that Nidhi had left long time back... Then Ashutosh Noticed Dr. Jyotika fidgeting over her fingers... As if, she wanted to say something, but was hesitating...
A: Dr. Jyotika, i do feel, u have something to say... Please tell be immidiately... My life is knocking down, where my Nidhi is... Please tell me...
J: Sir, I really dont know, where Nidhi is... But, when she left, she shattered at Dr. Mallika's words... As if Dr. Dubey's insult wasn't enough...
A: Wha... What did Mallika say??? Come on Dr. Jyotika speak it out... Fast...
J: Sir, When DD said all that to Nidhi, we all had heard, because, we were waiting to enter into DD's office for a discussion... Dr. Mallika also heard... When u left, she went on the corridors, near Nidhi, n said a lot of things...
Look sir, I do not mean to interfere in ur personal matters, But, she said, How incapable of a wife she is... How, non-caring, unruly, childish, non-mannered she is... How, u must be regretting to marry a misfit girl like Nidhi...
Ashutosh was fuming with Anger... All the Junior Docs were sure, Dr. Mallika needs to get prepared for his wrath... Ashutosh, immidiately left the CR, and headed straight to Mallika's cabin...
He opened the door flung... entered the Cabin, n just, spat his fires of Anger on his so-called friend...
A: How dare u Mallika...!!!! How dare u... Pehli, how dare u speak to Nidhi, the way way u did... Secondly, How dare u spoke all u said to her, that I regret marrying her... How dare u break her heart... And How dare u lied to me... What u said, Nidhi is in the hospital??? When the whole hospital knows that she left long back... God Dammit Mallika... Where is Nidhi???
Mallika was trying to avoid the situation, Ashutosh in his anger didn't even look at the person in the cabin...
M: Ashutosh!! Woh... tum pareshan mat ho... Nidhi ghar aa jaayegi... Bachhi thodi hai.. tum khamakha pareshan ho rahe ho...
Ashutosh disbelievingly looked at Mallika...
A: Khamakha??? Mallika, are u crazy or what??? Nidhi has left the place hours back... she hadn't returned yet, she isn't picking up my call... Look at the whether outside... Dammit Mallika... WHERE IS MY WIFE...??? KAHAN HAI MERI BIWI??? lOOK MALLIKA, AGAR USEY KUCH B HUA NA, TOH BETTER BEWARE OF ME...!!!! Ashutosh had lost it completely...
" What??? Nidhi tumhari biwi hai???" A voice from his behind came... Ashutosh turned to see DD there... " Main toh sochta tha, tumhari biwi badi hi samajhdaar-suljhi hui, ek zimmedaar ladki hogi... Jisey apne parivaar ki dekh bhaal karna aata ho... Par Nidhi..."
Ashutosh was way too insane, to bear any non-sense against his wife... " Sir, Meri Biwi, ek Suljhi-samjhi, samajhdaar, zimmadaar, aur be inteha pyaar karne wali ladki hai... Na mujhe, na mere parivaar ko ussey kabhi-koi shikaayat rahi hai... Aapko bhi pata chalta, ke uski koi ghalti nahi thi aaj, sirf agar aapne usey bolne ka ek mauka diya hota... Par nahi... Uska dil dukhane ka koi bhi mauka nahi chodta... Na mere senior, na mere colleagues..." He eyed both at DD n Mallu...
Ashutosh, ran out of the hospital, n started his car... He was barely driving the car at the speed of 20 kmph... Just in case, he sees his nidhi somewhere... All the ways, that let to their home, didn't led him to his Nidhi... He looked at his home door, it was locked as it is, the way he left... " kahan ho Jaan... please... Kahin toh dikh jaao... Mera dil bohot ghabra raha hai..."
Ashutosh headed towards the Verma House, But then he remembered they all have gone out for a function to Allahabad, n so theirs n Solanki's gates too were locked... " Kahan Dhoondhoon main tumhe..:" Ashutosh was going restless... Then, he started going to all the places, where Nidhi found peace... The Bajranbali ji's temple, their fav Tea stall, shehzadi saluba ki baradari, n the last, the Dargah... Finally, he spotted a lady on the steps of the Dargah... He immidiatley jumped out of his car... THERE... FINALLY!!!! HIS NIDHI WAS SITTING... It wasn't a tough job to find tears in her eyes, amongst the downpour... He ran to her... And immidiately hugged her in his arms...
A: nidhi... yahan kya kar rahi ho jaan... Maine tumhe kahan nahi dhoondha???
Nidhi barely was able to mumble, but managed to say- " I don't deserve you... U regret marrying me..."
Ashutosh immidiately hugged her tight...
A: Na... na nidhi... Agar meri zindagi ki aakhri saans bhi le raha honga, toh bhi, main tumhara saath, regret nahi kar sakta jaan... I love u... koi kuch bhi kahe... tum meri jaan ho...
N: Pakka? Promise...?
"Haan baba.." All he said, n Nidhi dropped in his arms...Unconscious, without any strength... Ashutosh picked her up in his Arms, n carried her in the car... He wiped her face n head with his handkerchief, when he observed, Nidhi's skin was burning...
A: My God!!! She's running high fever... N She seems to have no strength left... Let me take her to the hospital...
Ashutosh, ran her to KGH, admitted her, n himself monitored her while, his team of Docs went on the course of treatment... After being relieved on her being out of danger, He went out of her room... He needed to put things straight... As soon as Ashutosh came out, he found an apology filled DD... He asked for their forgiveness... N Ashu did... Next destination was Mallika... And Ashutosh's anger hadn't subsided yet...
A: Mallika... I'm telling u for one last time... Meri Nidhi ko aaj ke baad kabhi bhi, kuch bhi kaha, toh mujhse bura koi nahin hoga... For now, I'm lodging the complaint against u, to the mgt, disress my wife, out of nothings...
Mallika beg for apology, n on promising of her not repeating, requested Ashutosh, not to complain...
A: Well MAllika, let Nidhi decide, wat she wants... N then we'll see...
The night had passed, the next day Shone bright... Baba n HK, came meeting nidhi, on Ashutosh's call... It was well afternoon, when Dr. Madhu, cam in with the blood reports...
DM: Hello, Dr. Ashutosh, n Dr. Nidhi... Well here r the reports... Nidhi, did u really feel this insecured everytime, or this was something different..?
Nidhi was feeling embarassed... 'So sorry.. I have really frighten everybody...'
Dr. Madhu gave a soft laugh... No problem dear... Ab toh din aaye hain sab ko pareshan karne ke...
Ashni looked confused...
DM: Congrats Mr. n Mrs. Mathur... Dr. Nidhi is expecting!!!!
