SP Concerned About Radha's Hearing
LIstening to Akaash pleading for mercy and marriage-mandap forgiveness, SP started wondering what was wrong with Radha. He had several times mentioned he did not want to do anything with Akaash. In fact after the Holi beat up-pool-n-shock incident he did not want him staying at SM period.
All of a sudden a brainwave struck SP. Perhaps 'Radha is losing her hearing and did not hear me re: Akaash at all". That's it SP decided - Radha is unaware that her hearing is poor. He decided to consult the Scindhiya doctor that very moment as the good doctor was a guest at his marriage.
So, SP went up to the family doctor and mentioned his concern about Radha losing her hearing. The doctor comforted SP and suggested that he do a simple test to check her hearing.
Doctor to SP: Stand far away from her and ask her a question. Then slowly move up to her repeating the question and check how the distance you are from her when and if she responds.
SP was thrilled that he was able to do something for Radha and later that evening while she was in the kitchen getting the dinner table ready he decided to test her hearing.
SP standing 15 feet away from Radha: Darling what's for dinner?
When he did not get a response from Radha, he moved up closer and when 10 feet away repeated the question. Again, no response so he moved 5 feet away from her and still no response from Radha.
So finally he stood about one foot behind her and asked "Radha, sweet heart what's for dinner?
Radha sweetly smiled turned around and answered him "Suraj, for the fourth time - it is chole!"
