I have Q..
Today they show us Happyji's winning flavor dish of chicken ...

The contest was about using all 3 elements:
Bamboo cooking
that mirth (dont know the name)
gaund

I saw him using only gaund and cooking in bamboo..

I also noticed...he out the chicken on pan later on...😕

If he did same thing during contest then..its not valid..
because Chef Kunal did not test Sachin's dish because he put the chicken in pan after taking out form bamboo😕

Judges seems to have one rule this season, "meri marzi". They choose yasmeen for super shakti in sugarless sweet challenge after she used sugar or say substitute of sugar. Now they choose Happy Singh for flavor-e-azam though he dint follow rules.

He must have modified for today's episode. Otherwise there were 2 points where he should have been caught - for pre-cooking the stuffing and then as you said, frying the chicken after the bamboo cooking was done

I know when actual dish he presented, judges said he used that tikhi mirchi properly in gravy...And may be he did not grilled chicken in pan that time...I am putting my doubt..if someone can clarify it ...

I am a vegeterian, so dont have much idea, though i felt the chicken luked only cooked in the bamboo when he did for the first time,(it had pure white texture and not the grilled texture as he did yest. ) possibly for the show, when he demonstrated, he varied it to be fried too , i guess...!

I watched the episode when it was telecasted, and from what i know - he did use the pepper and the edible gum as well. He made the stuffing and stuffed it into the chicken and cooked it in the bamboo shell. As far as i remember he never pre cooked the stuffing, and also he finished the dish in the bamboo itself.

I still have to watch Sunday's episode, and as mentioned if he pro cooked the stuffing and finished it on the pan, they must have done that for the ease of cooking. Personally if i want to try the recipe i will cook it on a pan or bake as i dont access to bamboo shell. So one way its good that they showed an alternate way.
