do you guys think that kashmir should be part of india or pakitian or by itself becuz i think i read sum place that india and pakistan had said to given them the chose but they neve let kashmir vote i say it should be its own country but you all may think othere wise

My Dear, for such polls , if you put reasoning, it becomes easier to vote. People only hearing about terrorism for Aazad Kashmir, might think it is in best interest of Kashmor to be independent. But that is not the solution. Kashmir anyway is all under muslim population, No more Hindus are there, then still there is no peace. What does it show. What is their economy status now. What is left in Kashmir.
Thin k why Kashmir is so important for India & Pakistan. It is not for its beauty and trade is almost dead there.

I assume you are talking about both the Kashmir's The area under occupation from Pakistan, and the area controlled by India😃

About Voting, Depends on whose reports you are reading, there were elections held in the Indian side of Kashmir, fairly successful(pretty much equivalent to the success they had in Florida and now nobody is asking Florida to be a seperate country, given the population dynamics there😉). I have no idea about the voting and fairness about the elections in Pakistan held Kashmir, so I would not comment on that.

There are some who want to seperate from India and be a part of Pakistan, which will only happen when hell freezes over.

There are some who want the Pakistan held Kashmir to come back to India, that will only happen if India decides to be the aggressor, which again will never happen.(we only elect enept people to power, never crazy)

There is a segment of population, which would rather be seperate entity, which can never happen either(neither India nor Pakistan or for that matter China will let that happen). It hurts the strategic interests of all the three countries for Kashmir to be a seperate country.

so only valid choice here is maintain the Status quo, use the LOC as a boundary between the two countries😃, The people of Kashmir have to realize all the above on their own will and vote for that, unless that, politicians from both countries would love to keep it the way it is, blood stricken

And I should re-iterate(although I have it my siggy), considering the topic

My heart (and my vote) says that it should be a part of India.

My head says that the people of Kashmir should be free to choose their destiny.
